Christianophobia, why is anti Christian sentiment so accepted.

Christianophobia, why is it more acceptable than antisemitism or Islamophobia?

People who would never attack Jews or Muslims for fear of being labeled anti-semiotic or Islamophobes will openly attack Christians.

Why does anyone think that is?

Free will.

The Bible predicts that this will happen.

It's not about which book of fairy tales you believe in (including the Koran), it's about the power structure.

In the US, Christians are by far the most powerful group, so it is ok to make fun of them.

I'm sorry if that makes people feel persecuted.

It's the same reason you can make fun of white people or men or rich people.

Attacking jews would be racist. Where as attacking islamic faith or christian belief systems is just demonstrating intelligence in the face of superstition.
As for the jewish faith I will attack that when I see it attacking me as does christian an islam with their insistance that their imaginary god need be believed by everyone. I have yet to meet a jew who gives s **** about whether a non jew believes in the jewish faith.

Choice and "free will' are two different constructs. Free will was invented by the early Roman Catholic theologians to prop up the weak Genesis story. It has been a pillar of Christianity since, but never proven. I was having a discussion about this with another poster but they ran away from producing a rational argument when asked. Can you?

At this point of time, far right Christians have got themselves heavily involved in trying to control politics. That makes them fair game for those who don't like their politics, and that is how it should be. Politics and religion should be kept well apart. If they were, most people would be perfectly happy to let others enjoy their religion without comment. I know personally that watching religious politicians and lobby groups trying to take control of my life to comply with their fairy story beliefs triggers a pretty strong response, and I have been extremely religiously tolerant for my entire life.

I think this is more of a Christian persecution complex.

Because such things never happened by the time the bible was written, right? 🙄
We are all bigots. Think about it. ☮️
I admit, I am quite bigoted against decaf coffee. Coffee must be kept pure and strong. Does that make me a decafophobe? 😉

Oh, that's easy. Because you insist on trying to make all of us live by your religious principles.

Mostly true but mostly irrelevant. I was asked why some are more phobic toward Christians than other religions. I gave the reason why. Bigotry, prejudice, and hate fuel the Christianophobia.

Maybe because I've never had a jew or a muslim come to my door trying to save me? Another reason, 'christians' are stepping over the line bringing their religion into politics. Do you see jews or muslims pushing their religions in government claiming america is a jewish or muslim nation? How many times have we heard people claim america is a christian nation?

Lucky for Americans, they have the complete, and unfettered freedom not to follow what you deem as the "idiotic beliefs".
Just as luckily, we don't have to believe what you do no matter how much christians try to force their religious beliefs down others throats.

Christians and their theology affect our lives and so are relevant. This is also why you rarely hear anyone attacking Buddhism or Shintoism.

But I myself am happy to say naughty words about Judaism or Islam. Or atheism or Mormonism.

Depends on the circumstances.
