So why is it relevant that he is a "Christian" rocker, then?
So anything descriptive should be left out?
He looks a little scary, but I mean... is divorce really that bad you'd want to kill your wife? I mean.... ****... why? just why? embarresed? ashamed? can't afford it? murder makes no sense and I don't know why people would do this
You made a big deal of pointing it out here, not me.
Good thing that isn't the actual commandment."Thou shalt not kill."
Good thing that isn't the actual commandment.
Not really.Depends on which translation you read.
Probably? iLOLThe actual commandment was probably in Hebrew anyway.
Yes. When your ex-wife bails and restricts your visits with your children, you do want to. I won't lie and say I didn't think about for a second. But that's about as long as I thought about it.

Prosecutors said Lambesis had sent his wife an email several months before she filed for divorce telling her that he no longer loved her or believed in God. She also discovered several of his extramarital affairs, she said.
It's the title of the article he posted, which he then mentions is not his personal point.
He is no longer part of the church, so I wonder if he's really still part of that band or what. ie he may have disavowed his xianity before hiring a killer. It does mention a new album coming out, but that could have been recorded before he lost faith.
Christian rocker pleads guilty to trying to hire hit man to kill wife - latimes.com
So really the xian part of the title should be revised by all the media outlets using it.
Nope not even that. Since he's lost his faith, he's neither. xian or xtian can be angry, in my case it's just disrespectful. Foolish people don't make me angry.Or replaced with the angry version: "xtian".

Christian Rocker: Yes, I Hired Hitman to Murder My Wife - Tim Lambesis pleads guilty to solicitation of murder
This is in no way about all Christians, all people who play rock music, or all people with long hair and a goatee.
"Thou shalt not kill."
"Who, me?"
Yeah, if only he had been a long time advocate of hiring hitmen to murder your wife he might not look like such a hypocrite now...
Actually that's a true statement, so I'm confused by the eyeroll at the end. Had he been a gangster rapper, or Ted Nugent, or ... it would be bad, but it wouldn't seem hypocritical.

Or maybe, you know, it was wrong to do that. Just a thought, I know it's from way out in left field.
No, but if I heard gangster rapper.... I'd think "duh" and if it were Ted Nugent, I'd think "duh". Furthermore it isn't just the aspect of killing the wife, but more as it relates to the "family values" xians try to hold against others. So I get that by being obtuse you're trying to make a point, but we all see the hypocrisy of a xian rocker trying to off his wife... well except for the fact that he lost his faith before he tried to kill his wife. The point is that the "Christian Rocker" doesn't somehow make him uniquely hypocritical for trying to off his wife. The vast majority of people of all beliefs and non-belief are opposed to murdering their spouse. I mean if the headline was "Atheist Rocker tries to kill Wife" would you think "well, duh..."
