One week after bringing the opinionated bluster of his primetime show to MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Chris Matthews put Andrea Mitchell in an awkward spot when he pushed her to acknowledge that his opinions on Republican voter suppression efforts were factual statements.

"You know it's all true," Matthews said. "You don't have to say it, I am."

"No, it's — not our opinions," Mitchell said.

"Those aren't opinions. It's factual," Matthews countered.

Over the weekend, New York Times television critic Alessandra Stanley addressed how MSNBC's increasingly ideological stance threatens NBC News personalities. The threat is greatest for Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell, both of whom are veteran NBC reporters who host their own shows on the liberal cable network.

Matthews crashes MSNBC daytime, again - POLITICO.com

watch the video, miserable ms mitchell is mortified with discomfort

chrissy's not, he's leaning forward and characteristically shrill

they're worried about their brand, the supposedly straight reporters like andrea mitchell and nbc chief white house correspondent chuck todd

last week, mr todd came out and averred that the media had spent too much time on romney's tax returns (heaving harry's leaky bucket) and too little on the economy

tapper at abc (senior correspondent) said we "tipped the scales"

halperin, senior analyst at time---we're too "susceptible to doing what he wants"

nyt's public editor---we treat issues like global warming, gay marriage and occupy more like "causes than stories"

cnn's jon king this morning---obama's presidency has been "a time of deep democratic decline"

could mr king be referring to the loss of the most house seats since 1938, 6 senators, 10 gubs and the most state legislatures in history?

did you hear about the four separate BOMBS dropped on obama this weekend by jodi kantor of the times, amy gardner at the post, politico's punks jonathan martin and john harris, and ariana's acolytes at huffpo, all painting the same picture

barack hussein obama is, personally, "egotistical, selfish and dull"

cocky, an egotist, not as good as he thinks he is, uncreative and uninspiring, stingy, aloof...

this morning: Media: Obama is egotistical, selfish, dull - Dylan Byers - POLITICO.com

newsweek's cover---hit the road, barack, time for a new president---has become one of its all time best sellers

you really need to read more (talk less), you direly need to link

none of these people are lying to you

but chrissy's gonna get fired if he keeps this up, watch the video (you like videos, i hope, aren't they a little more like xbox?)

Matthews has completely lost his mind and if NBC had any integrity at all, they would take that pathetic man off the air immediately.

if he doesn't back off, if he keeps talking to people like ms mitchell and mr coffee joe the way he has and is, they'll can him

twenty years ago i thought hysterical chrissy matthews expressly immature, he hasn't changed a bit

Todd has already filled in for Matthews, and Mitchell has already done the same. It isn't threatening their credibility, it already had.
