That's Trump going off his feed. Roy won his last two general elections by a margin of about 25-30%. Primary wins were even more decisive.

I agree. Both parties have done this forever. I figured this would float around for a while yet, but a deal would’ve been good, so I had a moment of hope. In reality, shutting down isn’t really shutting down much anyway. Everybody can go home, celebrate the holidays, and return to partisan warfare after the new year.
