With the US shifting its military focus and resources to the Asia-Pacific region, I figured the topic of China needed its own thread.

I'd like to use this thread to discuss sanctions, economic competition, etc. China is shifting its economic system to "non-profit" essentially and going more toward its communist roots of late. They're moving to cap incomes and do more wealth re-distribution during their current phase of economic restructuring.

Anyway, thought this^ was interesting.

Knowing that China is a communist country, that sounds about right.
 

We are so concerned about China that we will spend millions to create a naval base that will become useless.
