Charlie Kirk has now become famous

There are people on one political side who know their ideas will only be accepted if forced by violence.

I think America is stronger than that, and will survive people peacefully voicing differing opinions.
Well, finally you agree that those on the Right will only enforce their ideas through violence.

I guess he got what he wanted. Almost nothing is being discussed in this forum other than the death of Charlie Kirk. He is more famous (or infamous) posthumously than he ever was when he was alive. I'm sure this dipshit will be the topic of conversation all over the media for weeks to come. Charlie, if that's what you wanted you got it, bro!
Not giving him empathy is honoring his wishes.

This kind of "fame" is temporary, fleeting, and inconsequential. He just joins a large group of shooting victims, and assassinations that the country is noted for.
There will be another such victim before long........ as that is the make up of the culture itself.

Sadly for him, I understand that Satan like to condemn his subjects to an eternity experiencing the final minutes of their life again and again. It’s unfortunate that he wasn’t a decent Christian.

Which is why I plan to leave this earth off my tits on heroin while receiving a BJ from a very attractive hooker.

The right assassinated Melissa Hortman. The right laughed at the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi.

When neither side can unite after political assassinations, then America is screwed.

I hope you become famous if that is what you want. Though being murdered at the age of 31 is not - in my opinion - the best way to achieve renown.

He was a young man with young children. My sympathies to them. Hopefully the death of someone high profile can spur Americans to address their violence problem in a way that dead school children can’t seem to.

Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment.:)

No, he's correct. It's a cruelly obtuse OP, and that you're defending it says a great deal more about you than it ever will about Charlie Kirk.

Guns and ammunition sales will spike, IMO.

Charlie Kirk does not care about children getting murdered in mass shootings. It's just the price we all have to pay for him to keep his guns.

Am I the only one who is confused by this angle? Do people sincerely not see the difference between a sadistic non-ideological mass shooting on a school and an assassination of a prominent political figure?

To me, the interesting part of all of this isn’t about a particular issue (like gun control) and focusing on it seems myopic. There’s much more to be said here about the meta narrative of American political discourse.

Truly no bottom for some people here....

and who made you judge and jury in Christianity?

What a nasty comment, stinking of malice and self-importance.

Serious question. Charlie Kirk was vocal about transparency on the Epstein files. The administration asked him to stop talk about it, around July 15, and he did stop talking about it after that. At some point did he start talking about it again?

I'm not going to start another "dumb" Charlie Kirk thread but I'll just say it wasn't so far-fetched after all.

Charlie Kirk’s social media accounts have gained millions of followers since his murder.

From CNN article:
Alex Clark, the host of a wellness podcast for Turning Point USA, said Saturday on X that the organization is receiving lots of inbound interest about launching new chapters.

“If everyone requesting to start a TPUSA chapter right now follows through and does it…there will be a chapter in every town in America just about, These numbers we’re seeing on our end are unreal,” Clark wrote. “Charlie would be ecstatic.”
And if these numbers are correct, Robinsons actions of silencing one just opened a lot more mouths. Sounds like he did his 'cause' a disservice.
Turning Point USA leaders announced the organization received 18,000 new chapter requests after founder Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika, addressed the nation for the first time since her husband's assassination.

Republican Minnesota state Rep. Elliott Engen shared a screenshot Saturday of a conversation with a TPUSA leader, where they said they had received 18,000 requests to start chapters at colleges and high schools.

Prior to Erika's speech, TPUSA reported having 9,000 college chapters and 1,100 high school chapters.
