The only reason they exist is because governments either misuse Tax revenues or the do not Tax enough.

The foul aspect of some of these charities are the people who crave publicity with the donations they give.

Telethons are the worst, cheque's that match the size of the lust for publicty of the donor, fawning sycophantic hosts, C list celebs trying to resurrect their failed careers off the back's of the needy, and in the green room, the champagne flow's.

am I alone?

Nah man. I dig it.
I feel the same about private sector service providers in what should be public services.
health, education, roads, electricity generation and the likes.
If we did the job right, we wouldnt need these schmucks getting rich pretending to help.

Private schools are a product of the exact same problem

Wait...what? Are you saying it's the government's responsibility to fund charity work? I can agree that in general the government very much misuses tax revenues, but it's not proper for government to tax me for charity ****...it's charity not an obligation. If I want to donate, I will; if I don't I won't. That simple. It should be left to the private sector and not the government.

You do not understand my post, I wish governments to make charities for humans redundant

I understood your post (thanks for the condescending remark). That's not the government's job.

dont call it charity.
Call it "reinvesting tax revenue in the nations social capital"
