Characteristics of an Earth Planet:
As defining Earth as Earth, and not some other illustrious planet, what features would it have to have to qualify as Earth?
What are the features that define Earth?
Here, I'll start the list, and go ahead and make jokes if you want to.
The Moon.
The New World.
The Indian Subcontinent, including the Himalayas, the Ganges, the Yamuna, Navadvip and Vrindavan.
Four mountain ranges in the form of a cross.
Hawaii.
Is there anything else, important, anything that couldn't be done over some other way?
You could include the bearing straight and that includes Alaska.
The Aussies might think Australia was defining, but really, it's just another Continent, Japan too, might like to think of themselves as defining Earth.
How about the Great Lakes?
The Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Europe and New Zealand.
Well, you take it from here.
