This thread is dedicated to the European Champions League.

It is about real football when you don't carry your balls, but kick them when penetrating;)

Holly Lyon is now leading the Group E with 2 wins in 2 games, while Liverpool yesterday lost against Fiorentina 2-0!

Say you are sore you Liverpool fans out there! And the next round will be very promising...

Disappointed not to see any Dutch teams remaining - out of those left there are some good match-ups coming tonight but I think the latter stages will see mainly Spanish and English (sorry Rangers) teams.

I'm going to have to go with AFC Bournemouth...the world's best team.

No seriously I'm behind the....shudders... Arsenal, they're the only Southern English team except for Chelsea. I'm not sure how well they'll do though, I'm thinking it'll be Real or Barca and maybe Man U who do best.

Will depend a lot on injuries this season.

My fav is of course Barcelona, but they have a very small squad. Yesterday they had a hell of a time putting an attacking force on the field with Henry and Bojan injured. But even with those problems they totally dominated Kiev.

The realistic choice would be Real Madrid unless they loose Ronaldo to injury. At the moment they are unstopable but they have yet to meet real quality opposition. But as always Real have a problem.. defence. They have let in quite a bit of goals compared to Barcelona for example, but that does not matter if they score more goals. But if you keep the scoring down then you could realisticly win over Real since they are leaky.

The outsiders are Man U and Chealski. Both teams have the quality but also suffer from issues. Man U team is rather small and getting old so injuries there could be key. Chealski has a buying ban on them, so if they get injuries, then they can be seriously screwed.

Dark Horses.. Arsenal, Sevillia, Liverpool.

being a man.u fan, as much as i don't want to admit i think it will be r.madrid that will win it this time. man.u needs to get more quality players

Dont be too sure.. Ronaldo is out for a month, and so far without him Real have lost :)

I would add maybe Juve as a dark horse.

It is going to be liverpool winning the CL and premier league double!!! :2dancing:

And putting my biases aside, I would not bet against Barca being the first club in 20 years to repeat. They are just better than everyone else. I think next year, real will be pretty tough to beat, after having played together a year, but for this year I will stick with barca.

Wassock.....

I do as well. Being a ManU fan is somewhere between the holocaust and the Armenian genocide, on the scale of worst crimes against humanity!!

I bet they dont eat Baconaise either:)

Wayne Rooney has a ****

Bayern Munich is my favourite for over-estimating its potential.

I really think an Italian side will win it all this year. Juve and Inter are dominant and Fiorentina could make a run.

Blue,are you a toffee's fan?

We could administer a baconaise enema:)

Would anyone ever publicly admit to that??
Frodders why not visit me in the Tavern, the mods have empowered me, I have an edit button so any bastard who tries it on will be Baconaised
