CFPB Quietly Kills Rule to Shield Americans From Data Brokers

This is not draining the swamp.

What the heck is wrong with you, America?

What happened to fighting for your rights?

Why do you just roll over and let the rich oligarchs dig into your life and gather every bit of your data they can?

Where is your right of privacy? Did you just give it away?

The 4th Amendment says you have a right to be free from unreasonable seizure of your personal effects. When you check the little box that says you read their Terms and Conditions (And we know you didn't read it,) that's what you gave up. Your right of privacy.

Did you give away all the rights to your personal data for a few trinkets faster than the natives of New York gave away Manhattan for a few beads?

Shame on you. In so doing, you embolden them. If everyone simply refused to check those boxes they would not be getting away with this.
