If the Covid vaccines caused the 250,000 excess deaths in 2023 compared to 2019, then what caused the 220,000 excess deaths in 2019 compared to 2014?

Why is there something significant about the increase in excess between 2019 and 2023 when a similar increase happened between 2014 and 2019? Because it looks to me that the trendline from 2014 to 2019 would put us at about 3-3.1 million excess deaths in 2023 anyway.

If the Covid vaccines caused the 250,000 excess deaths in 2023 compared to 2019, then what caused the 220,000 excess deaths in 2019 compared to 2014?

Why is there something significant about the increase in excess between 2019 and 2023 when a similar increase happened between 2014 and 2019? Because it looks to me that the trendline from 2014 to 2019 would put us at about 3-3.1 million excess deaths in 2023 anyway.
