If you bothered to read the OP's link, in your search for evidence, you would have noticed the author's link to the sources he used for his entry. I assume you missed it, a quite lengthy article also published by the CATO Institute, which I am sure verified its accuracy before publishing.

Is it really that difficult to recognize that Trump, as usual, is lying about who is responsible for political violence?

It has been very profitable to make people more gullible and enhance group think. For example how tobacco and fossil fuel for many decades eroded the trust in facts and science so they could continue to sell their products. To how Murdoch built a global media empire on lies and division.
