No, but as a condition of their parole, they were to take their children for proper medical care regularly and to refrain from faith healing. They failed in that. Shoot them in the head.
We're just waiting for you to come up with some good reasons besides "I believe in an imaginary friend".
So then its not murder.
When did I use that reason? I said that THEY believe that, and they have a right to freely exercise their religion. My personal beliefs have nothing to do with anything.
*NOBODY* gets to use the imaginary friend excuse.
Abortion isn't murder but pro-life people call it that all the time.
To put it in more technical turns, I consider these parents guilty of negligent homicide.

Or rather, innocent until proven guilty. But I still think freedom of religion trumps in this case. If we were arguing about a religious belief that god will provide food for a starving child, then I might be more swayed.
Failing to seek medical care is objectively harmful to a child. You are just plain, provably wrong. The child's odds of survival are vastly higher when medical attention is received. This isn't some question of opinion here, it is absolutely, 100% provable that this is the case.

Isn't it disgusting to watch what lengths the religious will go to in order to rationalize the horrible acts of other theists?
Not if you believe God will provide.
Wrong. Belief does not determine reality. Reality is that the child is better off with the doctor.
Unless you believe that God does determine reality.
God has determined that doctors improve your chance to live. This is fact.
