But humanity has experienced pandemics before, and this one is mild compared to the Black Death or the Spanish flu, so how is this one any different?
 
We watch "Apocalypto" again this weekend. They experienced it all and they prophesied it.

It is the end to them, and being dead, they can't hear. However, although the number of deaths is shocking, and could have been avoided if there wasn't incompetence in charge of governments, it is not a plague of 'biblical proportions' , because the advances in medical technology and healthcare is allowing us to prevent that level

Why, yes, I do. The way it lies about the Jewish scriptures to promote it's version of God is astounding.
 



To me, anything that suggests prediction is biblically pretentious and irreverent. But that's just me.

True but there is one major difference Jesus spoke of when telling us to stay awake to his composite sign of the beginning of the last days...

Sorry - but all this is repulsive rubbish.

And what I find especially repulsive is this constant Bible "Christian" joy about the end of the world, when Bible "Christians" think they will go to heaven and everybody else will go to hell.

Woah, sounds like it could have been lifted out of the bible, with Christians playing the role of the Mayans. Human sacrifice, utter destruction of life and property, everything.

And clearly that generation passed away. So either Yahweh/Jesus can't communicate with the skill of a modern middle school student, or He was wrong.

Christians would be better suited imo. Just look at modern White Evangelicals. They support scamming money from children with cancer, stealing from charity, bragging about sexually assaulting women, scamming people with fake universities. There seems to be literally nothing most won't support for personal gain. According to White Evangelicals:

Unlike White Evangelicals, the vast majority of people of Jewish decent I know are against this kind of stuff.
