Fun story! Mark Carney and his wife did a 27K run on the weekend through the trails of the Haliburton Forest. A very rugged terrain. He said he had to slow down a couple of times to let the protection service catch up! LOL We live 3K from where the run was and nobody knew he was going to be there and he didn’t publicize it at all. No press, no commotion, no drama.

Tough being an RCMP PM security. When it was Trudeau they had to find people who could ski at a double-black-diamond level. With Carney they need to find people who can do a cross-country marathon.
Much easier for the American SS. They need to be able to drive a golf cart.

He has a great sense of humor. Having finished 58th in a field of well over a 100 he said he could have done better but he had to slow down so his security detail could catch up.

Why I love Canada.

The only prime minister I felt was removed from the people was Harper.

I detested Justin from the day he as born. A fake.

Carney has yet to convince me. I favor him because the apple chomping alternative is downright frightening (as stupidity should be).

Today, we need Chretien back. Toughest mother mother******* I've ever known and a gentleman. Even Rene Levesque feared and respected him.

My sense is Carney isn't connecting with the people. He does not seem to be aware of the sudden hardship imposed on Canadians in day-to-day costs, seniors especially are hit as there hasn't been a CPP increase in years. The war with Trump's America has divided families and friends and he has yet to address that.

I hate to say this, but if an election were held today I would have to stay home. I would be unlikely to vote for the local Liberal unless Carney releases some cash, and I sure as hell won't waste my vote on the NDP, who I suspect is a party in need of a gravestone.
