Good job fake Christians.

"After graduating high school, Ma applied to CMU and was accepted into their engineering program.

"I only have a semester left and there's only three weeks left for the semester. We have finals coming up. So, with everything going on, it's kind of hard to process," Ma said.

...

Ma said he's been pursuing an electrical computer engineering degree, despite his mother at home in China fighting terminal cancer.

...

"[My mother] saying, 'you are not allowed to fly back and visit me right now because you can't re-enter the U.S. if you leave the country. So, you need to finish your degree first.' That's what I wanted to do, but this really made it hard," Ma said.

Ma said before his visa was revoked, it had been valid through the spring of 2026. He said he was working hard to complete his degree by December."

Trump is wrecking America.

This is just criminally stupid.

When statistics gurus compare the number of STEM grads in the US to the number in other countries, they're forgetting just how many of our STEM grads are foreign-born. Take those away, and we are at a critical disadvantage.

This is something else that gets overlooked in our trade war with China. They have so many more technically-skilled grads than we do. I would agree that they don't graduate from their domestic high schools and colleges as innovatively-minded as those in the US, but any country can adapt in a crisis.

I used to live like a 5-10 minute walk from CMU and Pitt in what's called the Oakland part of Pittsburgh, and yeah, lots of East Asians and Indians in the STEM fields. White people were getting arts and sciences degrees. MBAs and MPHs were about as mathy as they got. Go ahead. Deport and torment these students. See what kind of innovation we have a decade from now. See how rural medical care goes even a year or two from now, as most medical care outside or major urban centers relies heavily on imported talent. MAGA ****s itself at every turn. Maybe they ****ing deserve it.

I am about 90% convinced that these actions by the government are entirely intentional, with the at least internal goal of intentionally causing fear.
They want to scare us into not acting.

They definitely deserve it but the problem is they are dragging us all down to their level. They won’t be the only ones who suffer from their stupid actions.
