Smoke from Canadian wildfires triggers air quality alerts in Midwest and Plains
Some U.S. states may experience poor air quality through Monday, meaning sensitive groups such as pregnant people, newborns, older adults or those with respiratory or heart problems should limit their time outdoors.
Didn't this also happen last year?

Dozens of wildfires in Pacific Northwest and Canada hit U.S. air quality

Question is, what is the cause of all these wildfires that are happening in Canada but harming citizens of the US?

I mean, you know I had to say retaliation for tariffs, that was a given, right? lol

In B4 we are accused of doing this on purpose and are presented with new tarrifs... ;)

USDA Sends Fire Resources to Assist Canada Wildfire Response

USDA deployed an airtanker to Alberta, on May 31st, and the United States is mobilizing over 150 firefighters and support personnel to assist with the Canadian wildfire response. The United States is also mobilizing other equipment including sprinkler kits, pumps, and hoses.

Let’s hope Trump doesn’t see this. He wojld demand that it be stopped immediately. Yes, he’s just that big of an asshole.

He may not like it, but this was obligatory under the U.S.-Canada Wildland Fire Arrangement, from 2023.

My grandson plays college football in MI. and I follow the weather. Everyday lately there seems to be an air alert from the Ca. fires. I don't think he notices, tbh.

Canada's wildfires...that's like soooo 2023.

Except, I see the orange skies here now.

They have a lot of trees?

um wrong watsup.

with Canada becoming a 51st state, it would behoove the Orange to do everything to preserve our forests up north.

didn't think of that huh? yeah thought so, but i can help you with that my friend.

i feel this is all a part of the End Times drama the Globalists are dreaming up and a way to hurt the sheep in many ways. hopefully our prayers and support bring this to a quick end.

blessings.

Moose and squirrels are careless with their cigarette butts.

yep, and some of them moose and squirrels fly over at night with Lasers that can start fires anywhere

and do.

welcome to the End Times way of doing things Lisa. pay attention as there is much more coming for you to learn about how the Real World works. we have seen this in Hawaii, California and else where; there is plenty of forests to burn up north.

well now you know, or do you?

Edit, and yes the deeeep dark types have been known to start fires the Old Fashioned way too, so please don't dismiss that either. gonna be a Long Summer, may wanna understand the World around you a little better. wait till the pedal hits the metal and people cry out that they can't take it anymore.

solutions? there are some, but that is another thread.

Obviously we have not been raking the forests!

Bingo mr Fear, that is key to successful forest fires on a wide scale. it is simple as a lack of good forest management as these fires need lots of fuel to do their thing.

so simple the Elite have thrown this into their bag of Tricks and other climate change ideas to amaze the sheep.

see if you can guess how they work the whole program, cause it aint gonna stop.

An awful lot of trees.

Canada is the 3rd most forested country behind Russia and Brazil. 347 million hectares.

when Canada becomes the 51st state, do we get all your Trees too?

thanks, just asking.

we can make Big Beautiful things with all that wood, so tell the arsonists to knock it off.

More of everything than the US has of anything.
Except people. Butts in seats in front of screens. America has more of those than anyone else.

China has the butts but not enough seats.

I have always loved the fact I can be in total wilderness, absolute isolation in under an hour. I know a logging road that wraps around The Chief in Squamish, makes a dramatic climb and then crosses a prairie all the way back down to sea level and comes out at the Northern tip of Indian Arm. There's a spit of land sticking into the Arm can be used as a great campsite. Never run into other humans but have met up with lynx, deer, and the odd black bear wanders across.

Won't see that again. Old age can suck at times

Ever notice how we're never the top of any chart except hockey off an on?

I think the only 'most' we have is saltwater shore line, but second to last on beaches.

That, the easy access to serious wilderness, is what keeps North Shore Rescue so busy! And it's one of the reasons I'd pick Vancouver if I had to live in a city. That solitude outdoors is important to me.
I grew up in Surrey. Back in the fifties and sixties it was a wonderful place to be a child but one of the best days of my adulthood was moving out of there to this semi-remote Gulf island.

I tried to join NSS&R.

I wasn't a good enough hiker/climber.

I have never been so disappointed to be turned down for a perilous and often thankless job.
