Didn't they just elect a Canadian economist as their leader?

Ouch. Bet his voters are unhappy.
Thanks for reminding us that Canada elected an economist. Quite the contrast with the USA, which elected a former game show host in 2016 and compounded this mistake by reelecting the former game show host who had added "I tried to overturn the election via a violent attack on the Capitol in which 140 law enforcement agents were wounded" to his resume.

Well, the one we elected comes from YOUR side of the political divide. Unless your profile saying "progressive" is totally bogus. I suppose if we had elected a Rightwing fruitcake like the US did, our economy would be............................ in much better shape??

Not at all. We're in a trade war with the biggest economy in the world.
We know who has the best upside though.

Carney is doing a fine job of managing us through the mess Trump thrust upon us before Carney was even elected,. In fact he has taken it on as opportunity to make significant adjustments in how we handle our economic and security relationship going forward. The right guy at the right time .

What a ridiculous way to run a country
What a stupid post. Do you think the Prime Minister runs the country?
Give your head a shake. We don't elect a dictator like Americans do.

Odd how your own country's nine-year low unemployment numbers bore you.

Well, you're probably more embarrassed than bored. I would be too. :D:cool:
He can't be nearly as embarrassed as a Trump supporter is over the release of Trump's vulgar birthday card to Epstein.
BTW, what did you think of Trump's strategically placed signature on the card? Classy move right?....lol

MAGA's are in deflection mode as a result of the release of Trump's birthday card to his pal Jeffrey.
Won't work. Canada's economy doesn't make headlines in the US. The Pedophile in Chief's creepy letter however is leading every newscast.

Absolutely.

Things could be different. The unemployment rate of the United States could be as high as Canada, and our economy could be shrinking like theirs.

Might be worth it to not have to listen to Trump.

Canada's economic growth was positive Q1 and Q2.

But you already know that 😉
