The National Right to Work Committee®
I see these goddamned ads all the time, is it just an anti-union group or is it something a little more nuanced?
Ok thanks for explanation.
Can you explain to me the methodology of the union voting and such?
I definately think there is a natural human instinct to oppose concentrated power: big government, big labor, and big business all can be very hazardous to a "liberal" society
I definately think left-libertarians and modern libertarians have a lot in common. It's a weird phenomenon that libertarianism was claimed by the right in modern America. Oh well, id much rather work on policy with libertarians than conservatives or state socialists or authoritarian bureaucrats/theocrats.
Well, I understand that libertarianism is not a specific "wing" if you will of the political spectrum. I usually think of economic/social on the left/right and authoritarian vs anarchism(hard libertarianism) on a vertical axis. In that case, the most propagated libertarianism is right wing libertarianism ala Ayn Rand(who I dont really like to be honest), but I definately see who you are saying, it just appears to most people that libertarianism is a right-wing philosophy.
My main beef with Ayn Rand(which im sure 'vulgar' libertarians, which is what i call them because they hijacked the terms meaning, can clarify) is her psychotic hatred of altruism and why she defends selfishness as a virtue. And shes an objectivist.
Which makes lol.
But still, objectivism? She's a loon. Great author, I just dont agree with her philosophy. That's where I am not the run-of-the-mill college stereotype, I read all types of literature-- I know personally anarchists, socialists, conservatives, liberals, independents, libertarians(left and right) etc and I discuss with them all. I truly believe that a marketplace of ideas creates the strongest ideas.
P.s. Glenn Beck is the single biggest destroyer of civil discourse and the marketplace of ideas that results. I'm watching him at the moment. Man took what like 1 class at Yale then dropped out? Bleh.
BUY GOLD
Speaking of which, can you provide to me with reputable libertarian(cappie libertarians) sources? I have enough of left wing sources but I would like a nice intelligent libertarian, reactionary, regressiveP) source. No rockwell or drudge please haha
Nice thanks. Want any lefty ones?
