When in doubt, snap a photograph of a crying child, and attempt to use emotional blackmail to get your way. We all know that small children never cry, and the one currently being used by the American media must have been severely wronged by Donald Trump in order to break into tears.

I would say Republicans should adopt that same strategy, however Democratic policy is to kill them before they are able to cry.

They interviewed the photographer, this photo is the genuine article. If it serves a greater good, bring shame on republicans, it is well deserved, noting there is nothing inauthentic about the photo. That is a child being separated from her mother.

What is actually callous, soulless and craven is the left's utter disregard for American citizens who have had family members murdered by those law breakers they shamelessly bend over backwards to protect. The Right cheerleads for literally ripping children and infants right out of the hands of their parents and then whines when someone actually calls them on it. What is actually callous, soulless, and craven is the Right's utter disregard for people whom they consider to be different from themselves. The Right loves cruelty as long as the targets are nonwhite.

Obama separated families. Were you attacking him as callous, soulless and craven? Of course not. That was Obama. I consider your other comments to be just short of infantile. Illegal aliens are illegal aliens no matter where they arrive from. That most of the ones arriving are non-white has nothing to do with what our policy should be. We need to protect our borders and enforce the law. Having hordes arrive claiming asylum is simply a way to overwhelm the system. The bottom line is really simple. Either you want to enforce the law and have a meaningful border or you do not.

Hilarious. So Obama separating families is OK but not Trump doing it. More hypocrisy. What really has you guys stirred up isn't separating families but the fact that Trump might actually be effective in cutting illegal immigration way down. The family separation angle just offers you fertile ground to attack Trump and play on the emotions of the easily manipulated. Nobody is fooled other than those already beholden to your cause.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: On our side of the aisle, we're allowed to criticize a president of our own party without being branded as unpatriotic, unamerican, or whatever infantile insults are cooked up against reasonable criticisms of the POTUS. And one of our biggest criticisms of Obama, which did not get enough traction, was his well-deserved title of Deporter-in-Chief. What he did there was not right.

Our immigration system is completely broken. There is no reason why anyone on either side of the aisle should feel any other way. Even some Republicans recognize this and have moved to reform our broken immigration system, but the hardliners dominate the party right now and will not allow for any kind of progress. This is one of many reasons why Republicans need to be voted out of power, until they can learn to be less paranoid of the "other."

Obama didn't do this. Bush didn't do this. We know what it is. You do too. Also, Obama wasn't the false dichotomy you set up. It was this horse ****: "Either you want to enforce the law and have a meaningful border or you do not."
