California has passed a bill to ban those ICE masks and it's now with Newsom. Newsom hasn't said if he'll sign it, and there are questions about the constitutionality, but it sends a message.

If not unconstitutional, unworkable in practice. There's no way to enforce it.

But it's getting the State of California's opposition to our looking like (and being) a "shithole" country on record. That's a good idea.
 
You don't know the diseases these illegals might have. Seems prudent to me to mask up if you're going to be in close contact.

They weren't available in such massive quantities.

Back to ICE's not wearing N-95 masks now: this more or less puts paid to any notion that the agents are masking up in order to protect themselves (and others) from infections.

The ICE agents probably don't want to be assassinated by some mentally ill, brainwashed pro-trans person radicalized by the left calling everyone they disagree with a Nazi or fascist.

CDC recommend N-95 mask only for medical professionals, Also N-95 masks make it more difficult to breath. If ICE is in a high risk situation They might need to exert themselves and chase after people. I think it's YOU who is not thinking things through.
