7s7 Belgique - Un cambriolage à la dynamite tourne mal à Dinant (1003850)

media_xl_1828947.jpg

at 4am today, 2 guys have tried to blow up a bank in Dinant. But they have used so much dynamite that half of the bank has collapsed!

One of them has been found alive but he was so badly hurt that he died at the hospital, and the second one is still missing, he is probably somewhere under the rubbles

as for the strongbox, it is still intact, and no one else was hurt

Do the bank robbers have to pay the 21% VAT tax on their loot?

(Predictable troll is predictable, yeah, I know.)

no, but they can benefit from our universal healthcare system

Note to future robbers, banks use explosive resistant vaults.
So much that the amount of explosives needed to crack it open would destroy the entire building.

Next time get a plasma torch or wait till they open the door to the vault.

they found the other kosovar dude, he died too. I won't say I'm unhappy.

they've explained on tv that even if they had opened the safe (which is still intact), the money is stocked in "intelligent suitcases" that would have sprayed paint on the banknotes if they had tried to open them

Wow.

I thought two things immediately:

1) Where on earth did they get explosives anyway?

2) Money is the most protected thing in the world, even above human life.

they came from kosovo, it's not difficult to find weapons over there

That's silly. A vault like that only costs a couple thousand euros. The government of Belgium spends that much for each of its citizens in just a couple of month. Heck, with all the EU agricultural subsidies (to make sure the Africans keep starving), Belgium probably spends that much to "protect" its average cow!

there is a bank robbery where criminals killed themselves, and you start talking about the European Common Agricultural Policy

I don't like mossels, this brand of chocolates is so disgusting that I never eat them, yeah leopold screwed quite a lot in Congo especially when you know that he said he came to stop slave trade and no we don't deny that he has killed probably as many people as hitler, waterzooi is good but I prefer the carbonnades flamandes with fries, and I've never tasted that beer but I'd advise you to try the "Bush12°", it's really good

Yay. And American cows get antibiotics for free !!!

(Psst, don't quote the images, it only wastes people's screenspace.)

I'm against that too.

In fact, even though I'm radically against animal rights, there is one thing I agree with the militant vegans on - government sponsors the low cost of meat and dairy products. They say a pound of beef steak would cost $30-90 in a truly free market! That's probably an exaggeration, but they do have a point...

Do not mention His Name in vain!

Now, repeat after me...

Our Vauge, who art the lead mod,
Hallowed be thy domain name.
Thy Google AdWords check come,
Thy database server maintenance be done,
On this thread as it is on any other thread.
Give us this day our daily debate politics.
And forgive us our trolling,
As we forgive those who troll against us.
And lead us not into infractions,
But deliver us from banishment.
For thine is this forum,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

I would support cannabalism in the US if it was the only way to convince you in favor of universal health care . . .

Consensual cannibalism is a natural right.

And the only way to convince any principled economically-literate individual in favor of universal healthcare is to finance it through non-governmental means, like voluntary charity. I'd even let you phase out government involvement gradually (ex. taxpayer matching funds for private charity donations, etc).

I cannot agree with you as I support the Kabouter's form of socialism, which is not of the clenched fist, but of "the inter-twinned fingers, the erected penis, the escaping butterfly..."

When someone tries to "liberate" my property, I always ask which flavor of socialism they support, and listen very attentively...

...while the armored helicopters sent by my protection agency surround you and lock on their RPG's.

Naw, political power is more protected. Some entities will spend money like air, and lives like sand to maintain or aquire it.
