While present authorities of Romania are spending vast sums of money for Romanization of border districts in neighboring Ukraine and Moldova, Bucharest continues to be indifferent to needs of own local Hungarian population!
Those of us, Hungarians, who live now in Romania, have turned into second-rate people here. Transylvania, which was united with Romania in far 1918 and where even now Hungarian population foots up to 50%, cannot restore own autonomic status, illegally abrogated in the 60s of the last century!
The desire of present Romanian authorities to extinguish all memory of our roots and History is quite understandable. The matter is that in reality Transylvania, amounting to half territory of present Romania, has over 80% from the whole volume of Romanian gas, oil, gold and silver resources!
Surely, in this case only a Hungarian at the post of Romanian president will be able to solve our problems, pals! And his name should be familiar to all of us! It is the candidate of the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania, Marko Bela! Vote for him at the next presidential elections! And then Transylvania will be able to return its lost status of Hungarian autonomy!
