Thank you, Bryan Cranston. It amazes me hearing the sea of liberals who are openly rooting for Trump to fail. Do they understand the logic in this? If Trump fails, the country fails - jobs are lost, lives are lost.

All so they can get a "win" for team blue?

A sain voice in Hollywood, which people are finally starting to see their agenda. Cry for gun control yet put out some of the most violent and bloodthirsty movies? Cry against sexual harassment when you have all these prominent actors and liberal activists defending Harvey Weinstein and his predator buddies? Actors like Alec Baldwin leading the charge against Trump when he is one of the biggest bigots and racists?
 

I know. Manafort and his sidekick, both American Patriots, are under house-arrest as we speak - stop the injustice!
 
You're misunderstanding what's being said. Liberals are saying Trump is a failing and is a failure now, and we want that to stop for the good of the country. His supporters are the ones doused in schadenfreude that wanted him to take a wrecking ball to the country in the hopes it could all be rebuilt in a way they like.

On a related note: How ****ed up is it that so many people on the right have spent 8 years wanting our nation's healthcare system to fail? Republican politicians spent their every-waking breath to try to make the ACA a failure. How is that any different? So to paraphrase Cranston:

What has he actualy failed at that has hurt the country?...

No Vietnam
No Iraq
No Bill lying to Congress
No Watergate
No Bay of Pigs

That presumes all of Trump’s policies are positive and good for the country. If a president has a bad policy that will cost the country but they fail to implement it because they don’t get the political support, that would be good for the country.

There will be people plenty of who will cheer things like bad economic results or international conflict because of how it reflects of a government they’re politically opposed to but that attitude is not unique today and will have been held by some groups of people regardless of who is in office.
 

Our healthcare system failed under Obama. People cannot afford these insane premium prices for a health care plan that is essentially worthless unless you get hit by a bus.

I'll side with President Trump who is doing a great job. ISIS and North Korea are in retreat. Let's root for team USA.
 


Not all Liberals act like the ones here on DP. Don't judge the outside world by what you see here.
 

I support destroying our enemies before they attack us. ISIS is nearly dead. Trump has rallied Asia against Kim Jong Un. I would say these are positive things good for our country.

What has negotiating with North Korea accomplished under Obama? Dead bodies.

Can you please quote the thread you started where you said this exact same thing about conservatives who were openly rooting for Obama to fail?

I agree with the sentiment.

That said, this happened a ton with Obama also. Republicans in both the Senate and Congress obstructed as much as they could even. Albeit I don't think that they took it to the degree that Democrats have with Trump.

Obama was given several years to turn around the country. It is not Republicans fault that the American public started rejecting his and the Democrats policies.

With Trump, we are still in year 1 and Democrats want to indict Trump for comments he made on a reality TV show.

A zany president that has been in office for only 9 months is hardly going to put our country in jeopardy if he fails getting his anti-American agenda through congress. Please note the comparison.

We heard 8 years long the high pitched squeals of Republicans telling us Obama was a foreign muslim tyrant anti-Christ bent on America's destruction while they actively attempted to make him fail. Trump is getting it light in comparison.

And how can Trump be getting it light in comparison since it's only been 9 months? Tell me after 8 years if he got it light in comparison and then your statement would be more accurate. Of course he won't be there for 8 years, but you get my meaning don't you?

If you mean by push... highlighting his failures and lies? Sure, but that is politics.

Now I believe Trump is simply sick.. dementia or Alzheimer's, which excuses a lot of his actions.. what is not excusable is the fact that the GOP and his cronies are covering for him and helping him.

I never said all Trump’s policies are bad. I didn’t even say any of Trump’s politics are bad. I said it was possible that a president (any president) could have some bad policies but the implication of you OP is that it is automatically bad for the country if any of a president’s policies are blocked. Of course, I doubt you held the same opinion about the previous presidents policies.
A president isn’t the be-all and end-all. There are valid reasons why you have Congress, the Senate and a federal judiciary.

The man is hugely successfull, he's a billionaire who has raised phenomenal kids, and has a beautiful wife and lots of friends.

Where exactly does dementia or Alzheimer's come in???
Because if thats dementia, I sure wouldnt mind having some of that.

He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and up his ass. He squandered his inheritance several times over and has gone bankrupt 6 times. He "claims" to be a billionaire and successful but does not prove it. Many of the Trump properties are actually funded and owned by others. His kids.. well. Silver spooners as well, and it shows especially with the 2 big boys. His wife is a trophy wife and his friends... well other than Piers Morgan and Nigel Farrage, one has to question what kind of "friends" they are.

Have you even seen him the last 2+ years? He forgets a lot.. the way he talks, his rage.. well documented. Him walking down the stairs of Air Force One and cant find the car in front of him. Him saying in an interview the day after the US bombed Syria, that it was Iraq he bombed... the list goes on and on.

Because if thats dementia, I sure wouldnt mind having some of that.

Should not be sarcastic about such things. Dementia and especially Alzheimer's is not something to make fun off. Having worked with such people, and having friends with the disease.. it is devastating.. rather have freaking ebola and cancer at the same time.
