Say what.....I am not saying anything about the news reporting it, other than them Immortalizing each one and their influence upon the next shooter.
Looks like you blew a gasket when you seen that I said.....that Team Obama and the Anti-gun Nuts will make use of this tragedy. Perhaps when talking about reality.....you should stick with what is already recorded down in their history.
Also remember this part well Wiseone.....I don't whine. As I wasn't cut from, the Lamb lies down mold.....you are use to.
Look dude, having the news NOT report it is not going to prevent people from knowing about it, this cool new thing called the internet and social media (you may have heard it) ensures that information flows regardless of who wants it to. Secondly, it doesn't matter if you shoot up a school, a mall, a church, whatever, if you go on a shooting spree you WILL be noticed by people and by the country. Complaining about how news reports just show that shooting up a school is a way to instant fame is ****ing stupid, it doesn't matter where you go on a shooting spree it will be noticed by your body count.
Again Wiseone.....I am not talking about the new media not reporting it.....I was talking about due to their coverage they influence the next shooter. Course then about Team Obama and those with their Gun control legislation. In that order.
Heya Stonewall......I doubt he will be tried as an adult. I think here it was clear he went after who were the one who was bullying him. As he shot that kid in the face twice. I am surprised he lived with 2 shots to the head from a shotgun.
In my opinion, the greater problem is with the social media and other means in which a person can be bullied. Back in the day, a bully had to actually get in anothers face, hoping to get others to join in.
Sadly today, it seems kids are so removed from reality they think tweets, or facebook posts, have depth and real consequence, and getting a bunch of anonymous people to join in bullying seems rather simple.
Throw in violent video games, and the mixture appears to be quite volitile.
And yet again, that's where the parent(s) need to step in at home - and ** parent. But it's so much easier to give them free reign on their laptop/tablet then to monitor them because the parent wants their time to be on their laptop/tablet. It's so annoying, even when I take my daughter to swimming lessons, more than 85% of the parents are on their phones instead of watching and encouraging their kid. And these are 4-5 year olds - pay attention to your child!
Again dude, it doesn't matter if the media covers it or not PEOPLE WILL KNOW ABOUT IT through the internet and social media.
You want the press to censor itself because it doesn't play into your politics? Do bad, this is reality and if you don't like it then go hide under your covers but when you come out be prepared to not be so spineless that you can't deal with the world.
