Just was here in Chicago for the dying of the river on St Pats day, before heading up to Madison to visit my daughter, and I was curious about these green milk jugs every all the college age kids were carrying around.

Saw them in Chicago, thought it was odd, and then saw them on the State St mall near the University of Wisconsin campus.

My daughter clued me in.

Turns out they’re the new thing- BORGs, or Blackout Rage Gallons. A fifth of vodka/tequila, water, some Gatorade powder or min, sometimes Red Bull or some caffeine vehicle, and it gets dyed green for St Pats.

I guess it’s a nationwide trend.

Apparently, the girls are into this trend because the milk jug has a cap, so you can’t get roofied. Not sure how that helps when youve chugged down a fifth of hard liquor…

Well the Gatorade gives you electrolytes and the red bull keeps you awake until you alcohol poison yourself. Makes perfect sense...

At least i just had some Everclear until I was unconscious.

They are worried about roofies while they are trying to black out?

Dumb.

LMOA! Too funny! The stupid shit college age kids do! I won't get roofied, but I'll get run over by anything on the road after drinking this!

College kids are stupid, full stop. I was studying architecture in Tampa. A few of us traveled to Miami for a weekend in the dorm to augment our classes. There was grain alcohol in big kegs. My only memories are of time on the beach and peeing outside a gas station. I don't remember anything about the curriculum.
