I think the bill should be footed by the media considering their over the top sensationalism and race play are what put him in a situation to need bodyguards.
You and GZ would get along like peas in a pod.. Its always someone else's fault.
Wonder how he spent the $350K in donations resulting from his notariety??
Funny, you're so upset about a murder that happened months ago that you still have it as your avatar. Fact is, you weren't there and you have no idea what happened. Thousands are murdered every day, but because they were of the opposite race, the media jumped to conclusions. I wonder what they would've said if the Newton school was a black school.
It'll be George Zimmerman's fault when he is convicted in a court of law. Your racial sensationalism helps nobody.
I don't care what race you are. Racial sensationlism isn't limited to minorities, if that's what you're trying to suggest. (Rather racist honestly)My avatar is about a wager..
This isn't about race for me.. and I happen to be white.
Sandy Hook was not an all white school, BTW.
GZ wanted to be famous.. if not he wouldn't have called Hannity to go on TV or set up a website soliciting money.. His family wouldn't have been giving interviews.

I never said Sandy Hook was an all white school, I'm just saying what would've happened if a white guy shot up an all black school?
George Zimmerman didn't go on Hannity or solicit money until the news blew him up and he needed the money and protection, so that doesn't really make any sense.
Wrong again. The shooting happened on the 26th of February, and almost immediately the media was involved. Zimmerman wasn't charged until April 16th. He went on Hannity "breaking his silence" on July 18th.George called Hannity days before he was charged ..
He gave a video account within two days of the killing.
He has promoted himself very aggressively since the onset... and his so called "friends" have all taken advantage as well.. giving interviews, writing books etc.

Are you intentionally trying to present wrong information, thinking I wouldn't fact check it? Or are you just ignorant of the facts?
Source it, or you're making it up.He called Hannity in early March...
If George were smart.. he would have hired a lawyer immediately and kept his mouth shut instead of running around the SPD for three days talking to everyone and doing video recreations. Look at the month of March..
Source it, or you're making it up.
You made your mind up about what happened back in february/march, and no court findings or facts will convince you otherwise. Continue to live in ignorance and hate.
He called Hannity weeks after the media had demonized him non-stop. I would want to get my side of the story out as well. Plus, let's say he did contact Hannity in March, the Hannity exclusive came out in July, meaning he didn't spill the beans on anything until then. You seriously call that "contacting the media to get famous"?Remember when his lawyers quit because he wouldn't return their calls? He had called Hannity and the Prosecutor... before he was charged..

Ok good, so you admit, all you have is speculation? You weren't there that night, and neither was I, therefore, neither of us know what actually happened that night. I don't know if he's guilty or innocent, but I don't run around on the internet proclaiming he's guilty. That's for the court to decide. If you want to attack defendents regardless of whether they are guilty or not, I suggest you become a prosecutor so that you can be armed with actual facts and evidence.People who are involved in serious crimes LISTEN to their lawyers... they don't run around creating videos and calling the press and putting their family members and friends on TV. They don't call the prosecutor..

Though to be honest, you'd make a terrible prosecutor.

Normally I would say it's a bad idea for anyone in the same (or similar) legal predicament as Zimmerman, to agree to an interview on a national talk show about the crime their accused of. In this case however, the misleading and very one sided reporting by the main stream news media was so bad, and shined Zimmerman in such a negative light, that he had to tell his side of the story and hopefully set the record straight.
George Zimmerman bodyguard suit: Bodyguards sue George Zimmerman, Mark O'Mara - Orlando Sentinel
Bodyguards sue George Zimmerman, Mark O'Mara
Company says it's owed $27,000.
George Zimmerman, left, arrives at the Seminole County courthouse… (Joe Burbank, Orlando Sentinel.…)
December 21, 2012|By Jeff Weiner and Rene Stutzman, Orlando Sentinel
A security company has filed suit against second-degree murder defendant George Zimmerman, his wife and his attorney, Mark O'Mara, accusing them of failing to pay $27,000 for protection services.
Associated Investigative Services filed suit in state circuit court in Orange County on Friday.
According to the civil complaint, O'Mara hired the company on June 26 to "provide security services and security detail for the Zimmerman family" in anticipation of his release from jail.
(Take a look at GZ's photo.. He's huge. Who is managing the money?)
Unless the $27K was just 2 weeks' worth of service, the private security firm got what he deserved. You don't keep doing business with someone who doesn't pay their bills.
Evidently security was costing $10,000 a week.. now they have found someone to do it for $700 a week.
I am beginning to think they are all stupid and repulsive.
Take a look at the commentary that follows this vide of GZ.
George Zimmerman's Thank You Message To Supporters - YouTube
Sharon, you are waaay over the top on this whole incident. What was so bad about what he said? And listening to that commentary? I couldn't bear it. I don't need someone to interpret less than one minute of video. First words out of the commentator's mouth: "This is sick for a number of reasons." She makes me sick. And to go on and compare him to OJ Simpson? They're nutz.
LEAVE THE GUY THE HELL ALONE. (Directed to the cosmos...the comments under that video were disgusting.) He is innocent until proven guilty. This whole case is filled with grey areas. At worst. At worst! This guy made a terrible awful mistake. He is not an OJ. He is not a Casey Anthony. He is not a Ted Bundy. He is not evil incarnate. Jesus.
He's not charged with first degreemurder either.
The comparison with OJ was specific... Would OJ use social media or have a website???
Was "social media or the use of web sites" that popular or available during the OJ trial?
The suit over undpaid/disputed bills happen all the time in the US. What is not clear is was the contract legally broken. Did the security contract have a termination clause? Was it legally broken by the Z's lawyers?
This is a much to do about nothing. Here is a thought, maybe the State should pay for Z's protection. Since he has been charged and is waiting trial, is he not in fact somewhat a ward of the State?
