Didn't see this posted yet. Officials say there is no evidence of foul play. This is horrible and it will be interesting to see what is ultimately revealed.

Police at Delta State University said no evidence of foul play was found in the death of Demartravion “Trey” Reed, but an investigation is ongoing.

The family of the young black man doesn’t seem to believe their son hung himself from a tree by the pickleball courts in the middle of his college campus.

Your mileage may vary on your desire to believe that.

I’m not one to pretend that in MISSISSIPPI finding a young black man hanging from a tree should raise eyebrows.

That’s a state with a history of lynchings.

Mississippi Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Bailey C. Martin said the agency is assisting campus law enforcement, who continue to lead the probe.

Oh, good! Campus security is investigating. I'm sure they'll find the facts, then tell the truth about what happened on their campus.

A Black man was found dead after he told his mother he was being chased. Police said there's ‘no reason’ to suspect foul play.

Rasheem Carter's mother said that before he disappeared in October, he called in a panic to say white men were chasing him in trucks and hurling racial slurs.
