Fret not. Right wing morons do not only exist in USA's body politic, we have our share down here and this bloke, a Member of our Federal Parliament (your Congress) is one of a biggest numpties.

There have been recent very large peaceful and successful demonstrations in Australia for Palestine and now, there are reactive gatherings being organised for August 31st. This idiot Katter is going to be a participant, bitching about migrants and what boxex they have to tick to get here.......yet...when his own family migration (no ticking of boxes) from Lebanon is announced and put to him, he gets all uppity, defensive and then aggressive about it, when he ought to have been quite proud of what his grandfather did. Instead, he seeks to hide from and, even suppress it.

The saving grace is that he is 3,000 years old but he does have his followers. Of ongoing concern is that his son, who appears in those videos as a calming influence, is a State Member of Parliament (Queensland) and he will, guaranteed, take his Old Man's spot in the Federal Parliament when Katter Snr. falls off his perch.

Ironically, the moron was as left as you can get when he was at University leading the Campus Student Union.
