In 2002 Cheney said "deficits don't matter" so curious why the Right is upset
about the National debt all of a sudden?

Hell ... we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan so the Chickenhawks should be
huge fans of Barack ....

Lets see:

Out of control spending that Cheney approved

War ongoing which the Chickenhawks loved under Bush

What gives Righties?

In the interest of moon landings, the green of the grass is most important to the upper stratosphere.

In otherwords, opening the can of mushrooms can be used for puppy food.

For one thing. The President proposes a budget to Congress. Congress/Senate develops the actual spending Bills, which the President either signs or vetos. All of the deficient we have is actually Congress fault. Congress may be implement the wishes of the President, but they still have to approve of the spending bill for the President to sign. Congress could have cut off funding for the two wars, Gitmo, etc. They didn't have the balls to do it.

As vice President, you can voice your opinion on spending, but has no authority to approve. The VP can break ties in voting. I don't recall that being an issue in recent years.

While new to this site. I have been complaining about uncontrolled spending for years.
