I think if Dems want to start doing some massive action, they need to start creating a blue state compact. Then start passing laws to create slush funds to enact and assist each other. Circumvent the fed government. Have their own FEMA for natural disasters. Have their own blue state healthcare. Have their united trade policy front.

Stop waiting on the red biased electoral system to put stranglehold policies on us in the actual majority.
 
Given the current popularity of the Democrats they probably couldn't raise enough to buy a a Happy Meal Mickey Dee's.

Might be difficult since we have to pay for all that red state welfare. But I'm sure we can pull it off.

I'd worry more about the 25% popularity rather than dragging out silly blather. I'm sure you're not foolish enough to think only Democrats in Blue Stares pay taxes.

The low approval rating of Democrats is because they aren't doing enough to oppose the GOP and Trump.

Yes. Getting rid of the red boat anchor. That is exactly what people want. As far as policy popularity, there are these things called "polls" that prove you oh so wrong. The good news for you is that you are wrong so much that you should be feeling right at home about now.

Yeah, I'm sure by now that many Democrats are frankly tired of sending their taxes to Trump supporters to stay home and whine about liberal deadbeats.

My state assembly rep told me that this is in fact a priority issue at the state legislature level. They have recognized that if California only paid in what we get back in return, we'd have massive budget surpluses every single year without fail.

Most blue states pay more than they get back (i.e., subsidize the rest of the states).

And most of those states have very narrow splits between red and blue voters. And the polls show that the red guys are sucking wind on popularity. BTW: Got anything new than 2022?
 
It's bad to send more money to another state than you get back in return. But good to send more money to another nation than you get back in return.

After in place, any state can join, after they pass a tabulated list of policies required to be a part of it that all the other states already have in place.

Subsidized public college, boosted minimum wage, parental leave maternity/paternity care and universal basic income.

Get that universal healthcare in place and then force drug price negotiations.
