Black people need to find a way to make Conservatives give up on any dialog about this. Make it clear we're not listening. Black people need to convey the fact that slavery was a horrifying experience for blacks and steamroll anyone who says otherwise.

No compromise, no discussion, no retreat, we go all-in. Slavery was horrible. It is why America is what it is. America was built on slavery. Capitalism was built on slavery. Anyone who tries to counter that - shout them down, isolate them, cut them out completely.

That stupid pos probably thinks that the increase in the slave population after importing African slaves was abolished was due to the happy families of slaves on the plantation. It wasn't, it isn't in our history books either because it is one of the most despicable parts of American history..

I don't think there's a black person alive today who "REALLY" knows what slavery was about. All they have is second-hand information. They've never lived it, themselves.

Conservatives have access to the same second-hand information that you do. What makes you think they don't understand what a horrifying experience it was for blacks?

btw, if you had read Trump's post without bias, you would know that he was saying "WOKE" is about more than just slavery.

OMG I was waiting to see some MAGA come here to mention plantations. Didn't have to wait long. MAGAs LOVE the word plantation. It's on like every thread that even losely mentions some black individual or other.

That word is a mirror, not an accusation. Because bringing it up all the time certainly doesn't mean someone *else* is thinking it.

You're right. People need to understand that 93% of white Americans owned slaves and that the whole point of the Civil War was to kill all the black people. People need to understand that even today blacks are slaves to the American culture. They are prevented from getting education, jobs and health care. Blacks aren't even given ID cards so that they can vote! Do you ever see a black person in a grocery store? Heck no! Blacks aren't allowed to have food!

Really? Who is this "they"? Does this "they" speak for all conservatives? After all, the OP seems to think the reality of slavery needs to be beaten into the heads of all conservatives.
