Black Lives Matter

Okay, against my better judgement I read the article. It has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter except for the observation at the end that...

"Friends of the Public Garden, which supports efforts to care for the monument, has also used it recently as the basis for conversations on race — the kind of conversations that the Black Lives Matter movement aims to encourage."

So unless you intend to say it must have been black vandals, your thread title has absolutely nothing to do with your original post.
