Bill Clinton expresses some cynicism over Netanyahu's motivations

He was a kid when he first became back in 1993. Then he was the Kid. The comeback kid, he styled himself; for those who recall. Today Billy is no more a kid. Bill is a senior citizen with tons of wisdom and experience under his belt. Anyone who doubts the magnitude of wisdom under Bill Clinton's belt can ask Monica Lewinsky.

But I digress. From his retirement Bill Clinton had this to say:

The more time passes the more this assault on Iran looks like Bibi's Folly. It's like an obsession. I get the impression if somehow the Ayatollah Khamenei is teleported to Mars Bibi will call for strikes on Mars!

What is even more alarming is that there may be no power on earth willing or able to rein in Bibi.

Because everyone knows that rolling over and dying when another nation threatens you with destruction is the best method to ensure the longevity of the nation.

They'll have that target on their backs no matter what any politician does. There is no way to get it off. All any Israeli politician can do is enable Israel to survive.

That is one way to justify non-stop warfare and loss of life. BTW, never complain about any other conflict around the globe otherwise you risk severe hypocrisy.
