They would be wise to get on it. Authoritarians like Trumpn are notorious for crippling universities.
 
The challenge for universities is convincing MAGA, who look at the world through a "survival of the fittest" len, that funding research on fighting diseases is a good thing.

Some faculty mention this and it's breaking news? lol. I'm sure the administrations are telling faculty to shut up.

Not a smart idea to draw a target on your back, nor to put your university at legal risk because of potential stupid decisions at others. This is a sports agreement, not one for legal representation.

Plus most of the colleges are public - owned by their state - so I'm sure their state governments don't want them to establish potentially problematic entanglements.
 
You're not gonna be able to get Americans to deny modern science and medicine and think that the this country was founded to be a Christian republic if they are educated. That's why the key is to first eviscerate American educational systems and infrastructure.

Great news! I'd rather have them all go down rather than make a deal with Trump. We need to get rid of liberal/progressive biased education.
