Used to be only 30 something percent of the population wanted impeachment but the worst poll of the three polls shown is 43/43

And the party is just getting started

Here's a quote from CNN. Don't get your hopes up too much, Trump haters.

The House vote: After that committee vote, the articles, if approved, are given special status on the House floor and it requires a simple majority of voting lawmakers to approve them. At this point, Trump would face a choice shared by only three other presidents: be impeached and fight for your office in the Senate or resign.

The Senate trial: After the House votes to impeach a President, the Constitution calls for a trial in the US Senate. But there is some question as to whether Republicans in the Senate would even bother since they likely have the votes to easily dismiss the charges.

It's a good thing, because a Warren presidency would be a disaster. That's a guarantee.

Alfred E. Neuman would be better than the corrupt, brainless idiot you elected-and Alfred doesn't even exist. That's a guarantee.

Imagine winning reelection when half the people think you should be impeached

I would love for them to dismiss the charges. It would make them look corrupt as hell.

People will be cheering the smoldering mass of maggot excrement that used to be members of the treasonous New Democratic Party when all is said and done.

A remarkably, yet not unexpected action, from a party that has told everyday Americans to **** off, while they pursue there mentally deranged offensive against the Executive Branch.

Imagine the trust, faith and friendship you would generate with your allies.

Um...too late. The only "allies" Trump has left are despots and dictators.

Unlike you TDSers, the American public can see yet another setup by a bunch of losers as what it is.
This is American politics.

Something like $15 mill in donations to the RNC since this BS started. Just sayin'

I'm talking about foreign governments, not domestic cult members. But its good Trump will have plenty of money for his legal fund.

Though we're told by some who are pro-President Donald Trump that polls are not to be trusted, the composite of polls posted daily on the 'net shows a significant rise in the approval numbers over the past four days. Whether this trend will continue remains to be seen, of course.

The Turtle, also known as Senator McConnell (R-KY) may well be in trouble if he refuses to allow the impeachment to even be discussed on the floor of the Senate. In fact, some pundits are thinking that dismissal of impeachment by the Republican-controlled Senate could be of benefit to the Dems as the dismissal would be used in next year's campaign against GOP Senators from states with changing demographics. If the Dems win a majority in the Senate in the 2020 elections, Trump and his minions could be looking at some serious trouble.

Focusing on Trump and ignoring vulnerable senatorial candidates just might create an interesting environment for some folks.

I agree, if the democrats go through with impeaching him, the senate should allow them to make their case and Trump should be given the opprotunity to respond.

If thats true how do you explain the shift in the poles?

Huffpo comes up with a poll that supports their position. Who would have guessed?

We'll be conducting a meaningful poll in about 14 months. I'd suggest you work on that one.

Multiple polls have shown the same trend, with 32% of republicans supporting impeachment in the latest yougov poll.

Overly aggressive pole dancers?

I think many Republicans would feel the same way. That's the constitutional process.

I seriously doubt Republicans would refuse to hold a trial.

I dont put much stock in polls for things that are far in the future or sre hesvily weighted to favor one side but i think Trump should be alarmed by this poll if it isnt heavily weighted. The numbers may be off but the trend toward impeachment being favorable is something he should not ignore.

Of course democrats better bring a strong case or this will massively backfire on them. The only thing we teally have at this point is an sccusation and its one that bothers people enough that if its true they will agree to remove him but if the case they make is weak, it may hurt their credsbility with those people. People react poorly to being decieved.

Does that sound like the kind of thing a fair-minded person would say?

There’s still plenty of time for the GOP to nominate somebody else for their 2020 ticket.
