The DOGE staffer known as "Big Balls" was injured during an attempted car jacking in DC. First of all I hope he recovers. The photos, which I won't post here, show he took some hard hits to the face.

Trump's response is typically Trumpian. He's posted about this on Truth Social (in between bragging about his club championship wins) with a threat to take over DC.

The thought of utilizing best practices to reduce crime hasn't occurred to him.

Big Balls and his girlfriend were both victims of the attempted crime.

You know those times when crime is bad but you have trouble feeling sorry for a specific victim?

At any rate to his credit, despite his obnoxious teenager's nickname, the kid did apparently get his girlfriend into the car before confronting the attackers.

“The [police] report added that police officers saw about 10 “juveniles” surrounding the car and assaulting Coristine, which prompted the officers to get out of their vehicle and all but two of the juveniles, whom police arrested, to flee.

No, it isn't. It's at an all time low. But the point of hyperventilating about incidental ike this is so he has an excuse to use troops. That 30% of the country is rooting it on should be remembered by the rest of us.
