Biden wants to get rid of the oil industry. Look at the millions it would affect. There is of course all the oil workers directly. But then consider all the others. Truck drivers that bring the oil to the local gas stations, and especially all the people that work at gas station/quick shops. He would put MILLION out of a job. All for no good reason.

Today... people can now carry the cell phone with capabilities of the computer. We moved from large desktop units, to cell tech, that uses "Apps' to do a majority of software functions and it can be taken any place. Now people can buy, portable battery packs that can recharge the unit multiple time, even when there is no other power source close.
(I bought a battery for my cell phone, that is more than three time as powerful as the battery they come with, It can be three days of usages without a charge, -
I try not to buy any cell phone that does not have a replaceable battery, "i don't need a dead brick in my pocket"... )
Every Nation on the Planet is trying to carve and develop a pathway for energy conversion to renewable energy. Maybe people forgot how the world changed for "kerosene lamps" to "Electrical Lifts"... we built hydro electric plants and many other innovation and we are still doing so, to produce energy by use of new sources.

Tesla has been and is successful, and GM is planned an Electric Hummer. Harley Davidson has built an Electric Motorcycle. ....
That's called "CHANGE". Not only have the advanced in the process, the power generated is very high. Some producing more horsepower than gasoline engine vehicles.
Saudi Arabia, over the past years has said, they were building their nation to not rely solely on "Oil", they are committed to diversifying their economy away from reliance of Oil. Maybe the world don't understand what that means. They know and they have the money to get and have the information to know, that the world is changing, and that change is in the direction of renewable energy. The world no longer function on "Coal Fired Industry"... that means change took place...
The world does not remain stagnant, nor does it move forward by chasing the past. it moves forward by thinking forward to research and develop and build new tech, using the knowledge gained to build better.
just like no one is making and building "Buck Board Wagon's with wooden wheels with a steel layer around it"... We have technology that developed tires made of Rubber, and now there is research on how to develop tires that can be recyclable materials.
Therefore, you may cling to the past and resist change,..... whether you like it or care about the facts....
change will continue moving forward.
