I have seen a number of posts from the hard right about Biden not having a press conference. Well lucky you, today is your day!!!!!

It should be quite refreshing to hear our President being able to put several coherant sentences together too.

I had to ****ing laugh out loud when I saw this...



This "press conference" is going to be a hoot.
 
I've always thought that Biden should just give Trump-style press conferences where he screams over a helicopter engine and then pretends not to hear the followup questions.

yeah, i guess you're more interested in scoring political points on the border than if Americans can stop dying.

Looking forward to this to see how the prep was handled.
Were they able to get Donna Brazile?
Will they be so bold as to use a teleprompter for prepared remarks?
If they have Joe looking down at a list to know who to call it'll be waaaaaay too obvious what to expect.
The questions themselves could make for quite a show.
"Mr. President, you're so comfortable in your own skin, I just want to say we in the White House press corps understand and appreciate your candid and natural approach to communication.
Will you promise to maintain that approach going forward? It's been so rewarding for all of us. I know I wouldn't mind hearing that Cornpop story again."

all the progress is because we have a vaccine that was rolled before year end and he would have to give Trump credit for that,

yeah, i can see Trump taking the credit away from medical people for developing vaccines while he basically threw his hands up and gave up.

you should be thankful that adults took over and immediately coordinated with the states to rush distribution and save lives. it might be your own.
 
I'm sure Joe got a double dose of his medication today.

  • He said Moody’s Analytics estimated that if his full COVID-19 relief plan becomes law, “the economy will create 7 million jobs this year.” But the financial services firm said 3.5 million of those jobs would be created regardless.
  • Biden said without his COVID-19 relief plan, 40 million Americans would lose their benefits under the federal nutrition program. To add context, Biden’s plan would extend a 15% benefit increase enacted in December for an additional three months.
