President Biden spoke with veterans who are camping out at the Capitol building until the Senate passes a bill to expand care for veterans with burn pit injuries via FaceTime and sent them pizza on Saturday.

Biden tweeted that he was originally planning to visit them in person to meet with veterans and their families supporting the Sgt. 1st Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act, but he needed to cancel after testing positive for COVID-19.
Awesome of him.

Nice of Captain Asthma to make a virtual appearance.

It's so nice to have a decent, honorable, person in the white house again.
Yes, President Biden who is patriotic, honors his oath of office, and truly cares for his fellow Americans and not just himself like the ex-failed traitor. I'm glad he is in the White House, I voted for him and he gave the boot to the conman who was crapping on our country and lying about all his corruption.

Awesome of him.

Truly a nice gesture but I'm afraid if he was so low in polls and having so many people bail on him he wouldn't be doing it. He's digging for some points.

And Biden, the man you seem proud to have voted for has the country in a huge mess. It also looks as if we are going to discover that he lied about knowing about his son Hunter's illegal dealings with foreign countries will Old Joe was VP.

I disagree. His son served and died from brain cancer. He is signaling his solidarity with those who serve and answered the call to defend us all.

He's covid positive, son. Get over it.
Get over what? There's no doubt in my mind that Captain Asthma was planning to show up in person for that unplanned meeting. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the vote, either. Just a classy guy wanting to hand out some pizza.

Awesome of him.

The projected cost of this PACT bill calculates to $74,000,000 dollar per day. That's $74 million dollars...every day for the next 10 years. (not sure what happens after that.)

Maybe the proposal is worth all the money. Dunno. But would be great for someone in government to itemize where all that cash is going. Seems like a lot for filling a gap that for some reason has been under the radar for all these decades.

..

What's that got to do with being a draft-dodger?
Holy cow. Doesn't hypocrisy bother you?

Biden received his draft deferments because he was a student, not because of his asthma. In 1968 his physical disqualified him because he had asthma.

Trump recieved them because of affluenza

(In other words his affluent father paid a doctor to lie and say he had bone spurs, which weirdly didn't effect his tennis game).

Trillions for wars, nothing for our vets

Yes, yes we know. His father paid the doctor. His asthma oddly didn't stop him from playing college football.

Remove the non-related $400B spending and the bill will pass.
