Biden is NOT the cause of the Inflation we are experiencing!

It doesn’t matter who’s to blame or if there is any blame. People give presidents credit during good economic times; they blame the president during bad or inflationary times. Presidents take all the credit for a good economy; hence they’re going to get blamed for a bad economy. The economy is cyclic, presidents, government can’t control it. They can play with it around the edges, maybe make it a bit better or worse, but have no control. If presidents could control the economy, we’d have all ups, no downs.

The president is in charge, he’s the leader and decision maker. Hence being the one in charge, he’s going to get the blame. Just like G.W. Bush was blamed for the recession, Hoover for the depression, Biden gets blamed for inflation. It comes with the job. If one doesn’t like it, then one shouldn’t take the job. It’s has been this way throughout our history. Presidents taking and getting credit for a good economy, getting blamed for a bad one. It’s politics 101.

I’m amazed at the number of Democrats and the number threads on how Biden isn’t to blame. Yet, most of them blamed Bush back in his 2nd term and rode that blame on Bush to taking control of congress in 2006 and winning the presidency in 2008. Biden is no different in getting the blame, Both Bush and Biden were in charge. If a president takes credit, a president is going to get blamed. Want this to stop, then presidents must stop taking credit for a good economy and tell the people they had nothing to do with a booming good time. That will never happen.

ROFL, are you serious? It always fluctuates, but look at Bidens inauguration and after......straight up, way past the last many years. You just going to ignore the obvious?

He's right. According to the graph you posted, it began in 2020. You do know who was President in 2020, yes?

Politics is a blood sport. I give the Republican party massive credit for lying about Biden and inflation. It's an extremely effective tactic to win elections.

Lol, just by looking at the graph, it's clearly seen inflation fluctuates all the time, but under Biden, it's gone straight up way, way past the average line. You cannot write this off, the graph speaks for itself and bias is mute.

Who was President in 2020 when your chart shows it going straight way up over the average line? That's a simple question.

"But Trump" .
Trump inflation rate 1%

Biden kept economy closed unnecessarily as he poured trillions into it. Too much money chasing too few goods.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Biden has not closed the economy. That is a pure fantasy.

Inflation rate during Trump is not important because once inflation gets going and nothing is done to stop it, it grows by itself. Even then, it was not Trump I was blaming but the Fed. Neither Trump nor Biden has a say so with the Fed. The Fed should have started raising rates last year around March or May but they didn't. Inflation is not something President have much to about. Either starting it or ending it.

You are 100% correct. Presidents do not have all that blame or credit for inflation or the economy but tell that to biased people that are looking for anything to criticize and you get deaf ears.

Who was President in 2020 when your chart shows it going straight way up over the average line? That's a simple question.

So, a year and four months later, inflation is still Trump's fault?.....lol, you gotta be kidding.

You got it right with this one sentence.

  • an increase in the money supply

Biden pumped trillions into the economy as he kept businesses shut down. Too much money too few goods.
What was he supposed to do? Ignore the pandemic? He didn't have complete control over whether businesses had any traffic. The public stopped eating out - for very good reason! It could mean a death sentence for themselves or others that the disease could be spread to. Peopl eneeded to keep their distance to control the spread of COVID 19.

President Biden did a far superior job of guiding us through the pandemic than Donald Trump did. President Biden's sensible approach was far more effective than pretending there was no problem, promoting hydroxy, bleach and horse dewormer.

Conservative oil executives could pump more, increase the supply, reduce prices, but why would they do that when they make more money for doing less and it hurts the Democrats in the process?

Anybody who votes for conservatives after what they did to us is voting against their own better interest - something very common in the Republican party. The rich and powerful have their Republican followers wrapped right around their little pinky. They've literally got them by the Tucker.

We are lucky to have Biden. It would be worse with Trump.

So, a year and four months later, inflation is still Trump's fault?.....lol, you gotta be kidding.

I didn't say it was Trump's fault. Unlike the idiots of the world, I know a President does not control worldwide inflation.

I was pointing out that it started while he was POTUS. Not Biden.

As if a president is the only factor which might contribute to inflation...

-rolling eyes-

That is as absurd as saying that because two things happen around the same time that one must have caused the other.

Climate change is causing inflation.
The pandemic is causing inflation.
The Russian war of aggression on Ukraine is causing inflation.

We are lucky to have Biden guiding us through it. Republicans would do the wrong thing and make it worse. Such as blaming the poor for their own condition when they are powerless. It is the rich and powerful who make all the major decisions affecting inflation.

Republicans are more rich and powerful than Democrats.

Higher levels of economics than 101 would take the world into account and not pretend the USA acts in a vacuum.

Trump didn't keep businesses shut down, idiot democrat state politicians did.
No, the public did shut businesses down by not going to them. People didn't want to spread the disease so they stopped going in crowds.

Businesses were not supported enough by the government so they folded. Jobs were lost.

Europe did a much better job. Governments subsidized business expenses so they could keep workers on the books until it was safe to work again. The USA depended way too much on the free market system and not enough on government regulation. The free market did what the free market does. It went into wild gyrations with ups and downs. Now prices are up. Big suprise.

Actually, the Biden pukes have used all three of those excuses to avoid admitting their actions that started the inflation.

We are lucky to have Biden guiding us through it.
Like this?

Inflation stings most if you earn less than $300K. Here's how to deal:
Take the bus
Don’t buy in bulk
Try lentils instead of meat
Nobody said this would be fun

Oh...wait...you are talking about poor people.
Republicans would do the wrong thing and make it worse. Such as blaming the poor for their own condition when they are powerless.
Depending on the Republican, we never would have gotten in this situation...but you could be right about some Republicans.

It is the rich and powerful who make all the major decisions affecting inflation.

Republicans are more rich and powerful than Democrats.
Really? More "rich and powerful" than NANCY PELOSI?

But you are correct. It is the rich and powerful (Globalists)...and those, like Nancy Pelosi, who are bought and paid for by the rich and powerful. And those Globalists buy politicians from BOTH parties.

Biden pumped trillions into an iHeart kept shut down. Too much money too few goods equals inflation.

Everyone now admits the extended shutdown was ineffective.

As I said Biden flooded the economy with trillions of dollars as he kept businesses closed. Too much money too few goods equals inflation.
Governors, not Biden, right?

Good thing Biden won. Trump wanted to give everyone $2000. Remember?

BS , government kept businesses shut down in certain places long after people were ready to go back to them.

AND some of them only targeted CERTAIN businesses.

Didn't realize Biden was the King Of The World! Look at what he's doing to other countries which he hates even more than America - yea, his fault and his alone; 2022 inflation rates around the world:
  1. Venezuela — 1198.0%
  2. Sudan — 340.0%
  3. Lebanon — 201.0%
  4. Syria — 139.0%
  5. Suriname — 63.3%
  6. Zimbabwe — 60.7%
  7. Argentina — 51.2%
  8. Turkey — 36.1%
  9. Iran — 35.2%
  10. Ethiopia — 33.0%

This tact of portraying the American people as idiots may come in handy again while you and the rest of the squad communist party are licking your wounds after the absolute
shellacking & drubbing handed to you in the mid-terms
Yet another certainty that you are also in denial of is coming your way .
This thread may prove useful in further self-deluding yourself after your communist squad party has been beaten like a collective drum in the midterms.
By the way , here is a picture of the biggest canary in the coal mine regarding the outcome anticipated for the communist squad party by virtually every political analyst :

Good. Then the Republicans will own it. We will then blame inflation on Republicans. Get ready.

Governors, not Biden, right?

Good thing Biden won. Trump wanted to give everyone $2000. Remember?
It’s about keeping the economy in prolonged shut down in conjunction with endless government checks. Obviously that’s going to cause inflation.
