Many have been in Congress for more than 30 years. But Biden and Bernie have been in Congress for a combined total of 84 years.

Yet they want to blame everything that is wrong on the 2 years President Trump has been in office.

Why the hell didnt they fix things in that combined total of 84 years??

Any of their supporters care to tackle this question?

People like Trump didn't exactly help.

Sure...America doesn't tolerate dictators. The world's greatest genius could have 1000 years in congress, and if they are surrounded by dumbasses, they'll get just as much done.

This is likely a good thing...yes, great minds can be restricted, but it's pretty clear you can't expect great minds in all your politicians. Trump epitomizes why you don't want one elected official to have too much power.

Next...……..

I understand the sentiment, but resting the problems of the country squarely on the shoulders of a single senator, even if he's served for a long time, is incredibly silly. That means that he's a single vote, in a body that requires 60/100 votes for anything to pass, and then would require 218/435 votes, and then requires the signature of the president. So as powerful as a senator is, the idea that they can single handedly fix any and all widespread problems just doesn't hold up. Not to mention that even the best president in the world is still going to leave office with some problems remaining.

And no one blames every problem on Trump. But it is painfully obvious that he is ill-equipped to handle just about any problem. That's why he spends his time worrying about parades and air force 1 designs. It's because that's basically his ability.

So what you're saying is, you believe that two US Senators (who don't agree on a lot of policies) had the ability to fix every political issue the nation has faced in the past ~30 years.

In other words, you don't know how the US Senate actually works. Nice.

It remains that since President Trump has only been in office a little over 2 years it is just plain stupid to blame him for all that is wrong. It seem more proper to put the blame for anything wrong at the door step of congressional members like Bernie and Biden that have been there forever rather than the president.

Bernie has been railing against things for decades and has never blamed everything on Trump. He didn't get everything fixed because he is one Senator and we still live in a semi-functional democratic republic. I'm not a Biden defender.

Why hasn't Mitch McTurtle fixed everything? Why is he currently sitting on dozens of bills passed by the House?

Any of his supporters care to tackle this question?

First off, **** you. Second, Bernie never blamed Trump for everything, and claiming that he has is dishonest hackery of the highest order. Even Biden hasn't tried to do that, even if he is running on a platform of going right back to the status quo. Finally, **** you again.

So, together the two of them were 2% of the senate for 84 years.

That's still 2%.

Mitch McConnell has been in the senate since Christ was a corporal. Why hasn't he fixed everything?
