One of the most mysterious figures in the investigation by the House Select Committee on Benghazi has been “John from Iowa,” a man who called into Sean Hannity’s radio show in May 2013 and said he was a drone operator who saw what happened on the night of the attacks in Libya a year earlier.
The committee, led by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), pressed the Defense Departmentto find this talk radio caller and make him available to lawmakers. In April, Assistant Secretary of Defense Stephen Hedger insisted they were moving as quickly as possible on that request and others, and criticized Gowdy for “the continuous threats from your staff to subpoena witnesses because we are not able to move quickly enough to accommodate these new requests.”
Two months later, the committee was finally able to interview “John from Iowa.” In a statement, it questioned whether Hedger was being honest when he said the Pentagon could not locate him, since it would be “hard to imagine just how much incompetence would be required for that to be true.”
“In fact, ‘John from Iowa’ provided virtually no new substantive information about the attacks and instead explained that he had called into Sean Hannity’s radio show only to make sure that Congress had access to the drone video, which he stated was the best evidence of what occurred on the night of the attacks,”

Its time to wrap up this committee. Actually, its been long overdue to wrap up this committee. This is nothing but a political charade that has shown itself to be a complete waste of time and mostly used as a campaign stunt. [/FONT]
At what point does an investigation change from a search for the truth into a politically motivated search for anything even slightly damning? So, if it is all those things that you describe it as being, what have you got to be afraid of. Surely you don't mind seeing it through to the end. Besides, time and money seem to be commodities of which most Washingtonians have vast amounts. I wonder how much WE pay per round of presidential golf? Or for Bill Clinton's impeachment process? Or Moochelle's junkets? Be patient. And remember, patience is its own reward.

32 hearings, 11 published reports, 50 briefings and over 70,000 pages of documents equals $4.7 million in taxpayer money. And two different discredited leaders of the 'investigations'.
Yawn. Same old rubes coming into the same old tent enticed by the same old side-show barkers.

But, you have to scream and yell and make loud noises in lieu of accepting any data....

I think you're living in the wrong Country. I think if you had it your way ANY investigation that threatened the Left and or Democrat party would be called off immediately and or buried indefinitely.
All rescources would then be used to target the opposition.
Try Putins Russia if thats what you're looking for. I hear its nice this time of year
You mean the data that has not been destroyed or hidden. Or the intimidation of witnesses we have not heard about?
Somehow Putin is involved in this?
Personally, I don't trust 90+% of the politicians, whatever their claimed party affiliation.I think you're living in the wrong Country. I think if you had it your way ANY investigation that threatened the Left and or Democrat party would be called off immediately and or buried indefinitely.

Well, gosh....that's a real argument.
Incredible claims require incredible proof.
How many more hearings do you need? After all these hearings, with no smoking gun, your argument is that?
If we haven't heard about it...how did you acquire such seeekrit knowledge?
Lamest argument yet.
