We all know Hollywood loves sex and violence. Today, we are going to focus on the latter, as the former would almost certainly get me banned.

What are some of the most rabidly insane scenes of grotesque violence and gore you can think of?

They don't necessarily have to gross (for the love of God, no torture porn), and they can be funny as well.

First off, we have the infamous .50 cal scene from the end of the 2005 Rambo sequel / reboot.

Enjoy!

Pretty much the entirety of Dredd.

Here's mine for most violent:

And here's mine for most awesome:

Almost all of Kill Bill, of course.

A History of Violence has some very tasty and brutal violence in it, performed by Viggo Mortensen.

The first scene in A Clockwork Orange is hilarious:

Michael Mann goodness.

From Hard Boiled

The Raid (I can't show all the sweet stuff, so here's one fight)

Opening Scenes: Saving Private Ryan

Oops discovered the robbery scene didn't include the shootout. Must rectify.

The ending bath fight scene from Eastern Promises.

Let the Right one In

Cat attack:

12 year old girl vampire kills gruesome

I didn't dare show the ending scene, which would spoil the fun for those who haven't seen it.

That was a ****ing bizarre movie.

Opening Scenes: Saving Private Ryan

yeah that would be one of my choices. brutal

the scene in WHEN WE WERE SOLDIERS where the close support jet hit the US line with napalm

the scene in WINDTALKERS when the Japanese attacked the village after the flame thrower operator's weapon blew up and Christian Slater gets beheaded

Mel GIbson takes out an entire British platoon mostly with a tomahawk In the patriot

massive awesome axe kicking violence

part of the WWWS

one of the great war scenes ever filmed

I don't think I'm allowed to put up some of the violent scenes I've seen. Pretty sure they are banned.

Toe tag productions anyone? August underground? Siberian film? If you don't know those names, don't look them up, you have no business in that realm of violence if the names aren't engraved in your head.

Let's start it out like this, August Underground: Mordum...more or less a re-creation of a snuff film. The idea originally was to release the film by putting out VHS tapes all over Pennsylvania. The first people to discover it reported them as death movies. Police investigated it, determined through the film makers that they were fake by meeting the actors. This is the brainchild of make-up and FX professionals....a passion project. Needless to say, the realism is....well you'd be hard pressed to think it's fake unless someone told you. It's brutal stuff. Not for the squeamish by any stretch. This is as depraved as it gets. This isn't you average violent film. This is raw, and wrong on all levels. Toe Tag puts out some sick stuff. For those who question their ability to watch anything on that level, don't. Not worth it. There is no editing as far as you can see....it looks real. Too real. Looks like it was recorded from a camcorder....this pre-dates blair witch, and IMO blair witch stole it....except you have hammers, and there's no turn aways at the last minute. You know what....don't watch it.

Siberian film....again, to those that know it, it needs no introduction. This is brutal stuff. Read the premise first. Again...takes violence to a new level, and it's depraved on all levels beyond the likes of which you can comprehend. Much better production than Toe Tag stuff, but it's supposed to be. Legitimate film. Great editing and production work. This 8MM, but without the crime solving aspect...just think the crime, but far worse.

Makes faces of death look like....dora the explorer. These are disturbing films.
