In a U.S. Senate hearing today, attorney Aaron Siri revealed the results of a large study that found vaccinated children were far more likely to develop chronic disease than unvaccinated kids.

The study never underwent peer review and was never published, because the authors — staunch vaccine supporters — told Siri they were concerned about losing their jobs or reputations because their findings contradicted the official public health narrative and vaccine policy.

Siri’s testimony, delivered during Tuesday’s Senate hearing, “How the Corruption of Science has Impacted Public Perception and Policies Regarding Vaccines,” addressed the study’s origins, findings and suppression.

The study involved over 18,000 children enrolled in Henry Ford Health system’s insurance plan in Michigan.

“The results are astonishing,” Siri told The Defender. “For example, vaccinated children had 4.29 times the rate of asthma, 3.03 times the rate of atopic disease (a group of allergic conditions), 5.96 times the rate of autoimmune disease, and 5.53 times the rate of neurodevelopmental disorder.”

These findings were statistically significant — even when accounting for gender, race, birthweight, premature birth, and respiratory distress or trauma at birth.

But rather than publishing the results, the study authors and their bosses at Henry Ford Health refused to make them public — even though the lead author previously assured Siri and Del Bigtree he would publish the results, whatever the findings.

Thank goodness we have a Senator like Ron Johnson to give this issue the attention it deserves with this hearing. It's absolutely horrible that the authors refused to publish it.

Guess what?

The vaccine risk signal STILL held.

That’s not a flaw. That’s proof.

Senator Ron Johnson has to walk Dr Jake Scott through how mRNA vaccines work, because he doesn't have a clear understanding of the mechanism's of the technology and still thinks it "primarily" stays at the injection site

Pfizer's very own bio distribution data freely available, shows it goes EVERYWHERE, including crossing the blood brain barrier and going to the adrenal glands and ovaries. This is embarrassing

I don't get...they find the dumest of the dums to testify ridiculous clamis and even dumber to parrot them...

This so-called “bombshell” is a perfect case study in how bad science wrapped in conspiracy candy gets paraded around to mislead people. Let’s break it down:

1. No peer review, no publication = no credibility.
Science isn’t “real” until it survives peer review. That’s not gatekeeping, that’s the very mechanism that keeps bad statistics, flawed methodology, and cherry-picked data from polluting our understanding. If this study was truly robust, it would have been published—job risk or not. Scientists get published all the time for controversial findings. What doesn’t get published? Garbage work.

2. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
If vaccinated kids really had 4–6x higher rates of chronic disease, we’d see it everywhere. Millions of kids have been vaccinated. Hospitals, insurance claims, global health systems, all would be screaming the same thing. Instead? The opposite: vaccines correlate with longer, healthier lives, drastically reduced hospitalizations, and protection from diseases that actually kill children.

3. Beware the “statistical significance” trap.
You can cook numbers however you want if you don’t share methodology, confounding variables, or raw data. “Statistically significant” without replication is like saying you hit blackjack once, so clearly you’ve cracked the casino code.

4. Look at the messengers.
Aaron Siri isn’t some neutral truth-teller—he’s a lawyer who has built a career (and fortune) on anti-vaccine litigation. Del Bigtree? Same story. When your “evidence” lives only in activist circles and never in respected scientific journals, you’re not uncovering truth—you’re selling a narrative.

5. Real-world data contradicts this.
Decades of large-scale, peer-reviewed studies across multiple nations show the opposite of what Siri claims: vaccines lower disease risk, reduce mortality, and carry minuscule side-effect rates compared to the devastation of preventable illnesses. That’s why every credible health authority in the world, from the CDC to the WHO to the NHS, still endorses them.

So, no—this isn’t a whistleblowing moment. It’s a reheated conspiracy theory dressed up in “suppressed study” clothing, meant to inflame distrust. The only thing “astonishing” is that people still fall for it.

A collection of statistics is not a scientific study.
A scientific study starts with a theory and moves through a series of experiments to test the theory and ends with an analysis of the data produced by the experiments.

What's the lie? Are you claiming the study is fake?
"The results are astonishing,” Siri told The Defender. “For example, vaccinated children had 4.29 times the rate of asthma, 3.03 times the rate of atopic disease (a group of allergic conditions), 5.96 times the rate of autoimmune disease, and 5.53 times the rate of neurodevelopmental disorder."

I call bullshit.
This is saying that if two out of a hundred unvaccinated children (unvaccinated for what?) have asthma then eight vaccinated children (vaccinated for what?) have asthma.
This isn't a 'study'. It's statistics without context. It was never peer-reviewed and never published and you just accept that it was because the authors feared for their jobs, not that it's bullshit. Oh, they were afraid of losing their reputations if this stuff was peer-reviewed and published, and that doesn't raise any questions for you.
Not hard to guess why.

I wonder what it is they think they are trying to prove with these senseless non scientific findings?

Scientists from deep red Alabama have proven there are indeed troglodytes living in middle earth. More at six.

First off, authors do not get to decide whether their study is published. That is the purvue of the editorial board of the science journal to which they submit it. The board considers the input of the peer reviewers, who do not know the names of the authors or their affiliations.

Each of the reviewers (generally published authors themselves and acknowledged experts in their own right) independently consider the merits of the paper, its strengths and weaknesses. They each determine if the author's conclusions are supported by the results. They consider whether a review of the literature (previous relevent research) was adequate and whether enough details on the methodology allows for others to replicate the study.

Based on this, each reviewer submits their own evaluation to the editor, who in turn can accept the paper for publication, reject the paper, or suggest changes that the authors may or may not agree to. If the authors agree to the changes, they can resubmit the paper and the process begins again.

That is how science gets published.

The paper in question was never subjected to the peer review process. Therefore, we have no idea whether it is sound solid science.

Holy shit!

They found 2000 kids in a circumscribed population that hadn't even had 1 vaccination.

Kudos!
I guess we can ignore our history prior to vaccination and the scores of deaths during epidemics. Idiocracy here we come.

We are watching it unfold in real time. Avoiding vaccines, eating horse paste, drinking raw milk, swimming in sewage, supporting Trump...

Aaron Siri is an attorney. He's not a physician. He's not an epidemiologist. He's not a statistician.

Siri is rfkjr's attorney.

Good grief, he's a lawyer. Why the hell would anyone consider him credible on this and related topics?

I know. The devolution will be televised.

MAGAs love them some experts when they have zero medical education or training.

On Tuesday, Aaron Siri, personal lawyer and close adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., presented his “smoking gun” at a Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hearing on vaccine science. Siri, who has represented Kennedy in multiple lawsuits against federal health agencies and reportedly helped interview candidates for Department of Health and Human Services positions, unveiled a study riddled with the exact flaws that peer review is designed to catch: fundamental study design errors, statistical impossibilities inconsistent with known prevalence, and results that collapse under routine epidemiologic scrutiny. Notably, even this study’s own data showed no association between vaccines and autism, the condition most frequently cited by vaccine critics.

The study, known as the Henry Ford Health system analysis, was completed years ago and remains unpublished. It purports to show that vaccinated children have dramatically higher rates of chronic conditions than unvaccinated children. That it remains unpublished isn’t suppression, as Siri alleged, but rather quality control. The bitter irony of this hearing’s title — “How the Corruption of Science Has Impacted Public Perception” — is that, as I testified to the subcommittee, the real corruption on display isn’t in journals rejecting flawed studies. It’s in bypassing peer review entirely, shopping for any analysis that supports predetermined conclusions, then presenting it as evidence on a Senate stage. The analysis contains fundamental mistakes that any credible journal would flag.

The most glaring problem is detection bias, which occurs when one group gets examined more frequently than another, leading to more diagnoses regardless of actual disease rates.
In the Henry Ford data, vaccinated children had substantially more health care visits than unvaccinated children. Conditions requiring clinical evaluation to diagnose — ADHD, learning disorders, speech delays, ear infections — will inevitably be recorded more often in the frequently seen group. Yet the authors never correct for this gap. Their only check was to drop children who never had a single encounter with a health care provider, which still leaves one group averaging seven visits a year and the other averaging two. That doesn’t level the playing field; it simply bakes the bias into the results. What they’re measuring is exposure to medical observation, not the effects of vaccines.

Take the claim of a six- to eight-fold increase in ear infections among vaccinated children. This is medically implausible but perfectly explained by detection bias. A child who rarely sees a clinician won’t have “otitis media” coded in their record, even if they’ve had ear pain. While untreated ear infections can resolve on their own, they subject children to unnecessary pain, potential hearing damage, and risk of complications like mastoiditis or meningitis. The study repeatedly conflates absence of diagnosis with absence of disease....

If you don’t test people, Covid just magically disappears type thinking 🙄

No wonder MAGA types gobble this shit up.
