The Prime Minister and Parliament of Australia have called for the release of Julian Assange, with the Solicitor General of Australia saying that this has gone on long enough. Assange is currently being held in the UK. The government of the United States wants Assange extradited for information he posted on Wikileaks. What are your thoughts?

The people who brought us Rupert Murdoch want us to release Assange so he can team up with Musk, Snowden and Putin.
Yeah great idea.
The USG assured the UK Government and the UK Commonwealth Government of Australia it would not seek the death penalty for Assange. And that Assange the Australian national would be granted all the rights of a US citizen in a court of US law which is generous indeed.I have a feeling there's a pretty well-established system for Australia requesting the extradition of someone from the UK so this will go through that.
I can't see any reason to deny the request if Australia meet all the legal requirements which I have no doubt they will.
Australia doesn't have the death sentence which was why the UK didn't extradite him to the US as it's against the law to send anyone to a country where they may be executed as the death penalty was outlawed in the UK a long time ago.
Assange and his loyalty and commitment to Putin against the US and NATO, Europe and democracy pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court of espionage against the United States.Well Australia got it's way, but it wasn't a huge favor they were asking. Assange has served his time, and an Australian court would not even have sentenced him to that long.
It would have been really ugly if a US court had got ahold of Assange and sentenced him to life (or death). It would send a terrible message to US allies.
