NOW: Attorney General William Barr is testifying before a Congressional committee about the Justice Department’s budget.
But it's not just the budget: Barr will likely be grilled on special counsel Robert Mueller's report on the Russia investigation, and Barr's short summary of it. He could also face questions about immigration and the border.

Redacted Mueller report expected in the next week
The report that Barr needs to release to the public is the one that Mueller’s team created for public consumption and which Barr has been sitting on for the last two weeks. Then he needs to release the full unredacted version to HJC. He can take his own redacted version and shove it up his ass.
The redacted report is one thing, but so far in front of this House committee Barr is doing rather well. House Democrats are not doing a good job at all in trying to trip him up.

He's making it very clear that he thinks his job is to protect the POTUS rather than inform the congress.
The AG is supposed to be above politics, charged with protecting the people, not the president.
And Democrats are making it very clear that they are using a budget meeting for political purposes.

Oh nooos, that has never happened before, what ever shall we do?!?!?
No, they're not. Not in any way that I can see.
what the **** are you yappin’ about, he can’t release it unredacted, it’s against the law for him to release 6-E material...keep up! You too “Odd Job”Well stated, however Barr at this point appears to be full in with trump, and I do not trust him to follow the law.
With all the turn overs, it looks like trump is setting things up with appointees that are willing to take his loyalty pledge and break the law at his orders.
Just yesterday he order boarder security to break the law in a speech to them.
The people who were actually in charge informed them that if they followed the president's orders they would be personally legally liable...

So you just want to expose everybody who was involved or not, along with any and all national security intel in the process?

I find it hard to believe that Mueller and his staff would willingly work with Barr on creating "another" version then. Sounds like you just want to hate trump, and you would be HAPPY if you found out Trump colluded with russia because it validates your self-righteous opinions against conservatives. Truth is, even if the report was completely unredacted, it wouldn't be enough for you, and it wouldn't be enough for the DNC and the media because, as long as trump is president, the show must go on!.The report that Barr needs to release to the public is the one that Mueller’s team created for public consumption and which Barr has been sitting on for the last two weeks. The AG can go to a Judge for review of 6E material, which is permitted under the law, and the Judge can decide to release or not. Barr stated he would not.
Good luck with that...The report that Barr needs to release to the public is the one that Mueller’s team created for public consumption and which Barr has been sitting on for the last two weeks. In retrospect, Loretta Lynch should have retained full control of the investigation into Hillary Clinton, then sat on the conclusions of the investigation "because nothing would be good enough for Republicans." I'm sure that would have gone over great with you guys.
Indeed, and its just a week. Plus, in color:I never had any expectation of them doing that to Barr. Anyone can cast a line in the water, but the best angler is the one who gets the fish. I think the release of the redacted report is a better time to determine if there's anything of interest which would require reviewing the redacted content.
I think this is an excellent idea, the public will know why some parts are not disclosed.During his testimony Barr told the committee that the full Mueller Report will be released next week. The report will include four color-coded redaction categories.
– Grand jury material
– Classified information
– Material tied to ongoing cases
– Information that could harm peripheral third parties
I wonder if he just means each redaction will be assigned one of those 4 color coded designations, or further details."We will provide explanatory notes describing the basis for each redaction."
I don't remember Loretta Lynch working with Barr to create a redacted report of the clinton investigation....nope....they just redacted it by themselves
