You can enter the country legally and yet still not have the right to remain in the country.

If say you enter the United States on a termporary VISA and overstay it you've entered legally but do not have the legal right to remain here.

Shortly after the US government illegally and unconstitutionally transported about 240 Venezuelans to be imprisoned in El Salvador’s horrific “terrorism” prison on March 15, CBS News published their names. A subsequent CBS News investigation found that 75 percent of the men on that list had no criminal record in the United States or abroad. Less attention has been paid to the fact that dozens of these men never violated immigration laws either.

Why This Review Was Needed

The US government not only denied these men due process; it has also generally failed to provide their families, their attorneys, or the public any information about what it alleges these men did to deserve incarceration in El Salvador. In fact, it has never even published a comprehensive list of individuals that it has sent to El Salvador, and it has refused to verify the CBS News list. Journalists have already discovered that the list obtained by CBS News was incomplete.

Moreover, in most cases, the men never knew the “evidence” against them or that they were being removed to El Salvador. Finally, the US and Salvadoran governments won’t allow the men to talk to anyone, so there is no way to interview them directly....

These circumstances should repel ALL of us. Why? Because it means that the lawless trump administration picked people up, detained them, denied them due process, refused to identify them or release verified information about them, deliberately ignored a judicial order re deporting them, and renditioned them to torture and indefinite perhaps permanent incarceration in a foreign hellhole.

It makes me want to vomit.

That trump has gotten away with this means he knows he can get away with doing this to anybody - including renditioning American citizens.

The basic INHUMANITY of this is appalling. El Salvador might as well be Trump's version of " concentration camp/ Ordinarily, this would be grossly illegal and Un American. .........but the MAGA/ Trump group have changed what America is .......and NOT for the better. This is sinister and defies logic ....let alone humanitarian principles. America has lost respect, stature, it's principles , ethics, standards in the name of GREED.(and absolute power).
The question is : which category of pigmented peple will be next for "deportation".........ie sent to "camps" in El Salvadore. ??? How much is Trump regime paying El Salvador to accept these PEOPLE ???
