Associated Press Threatens Legal Action Over Request for Hillary Clinton Information
By RAVI SOMAIYA
MARCH 4, 2015
The Associated Press said Wednesday that it was considering legal action over unfulfilled Freedom of Information Act requests for government documents covering Hillary Rodham Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.
In its requests, the AP asked for her full schedules and calendars and for details on the State Department’s decision to grant a special position to a longtime Clinton aide, Huma Abedin, among other documents. The oldest request, the news organization said, was made in March 2010.
“We believe it’s critically important that government officials and agencies be held accountable to the voters,” said AP’s general counsel, Karen Kaiser. “In this instance, we’ve exhausted our administrative remedies in pursuit of important documents and are considering legal action.”
Seriously, does this administration give a damn about the principals this country was founded on?
They didn't have email, but many did save their correspondence. Washington thought of it as preserving his legacy.Did the founders make public all of their personal and official correspondences, daily schedules, and reasons for appointments and hiring practices?
It looks as though the most transparent administration in the history of the union is caught with their pants down around their ankles again...

Don't you need probable cause to invade someone's privacy like this? Other than the right's Benghazi Tourette's, which is definitely not sufficient to establish probable cause, is there any basis for this?
I am still waiting for them to respond to my FOIA requests for the nuclear launch codes. I probably should follow up on that :2razz:
The FOIA is silly as is preserving all these records. Damn, Nixon.

Whats Hillary hiding, and why is the left defending this?
Because they know she is hiding something.
Because they know she is hiding something.
She is already in Contempt Of Congress for not supplying those emails in the Benghazi request. She is going down if that sniveling Boehner had a spine,....so I give Hillary even odds.

Yup. The left can never seem to hold the high ground.
If it depends on Boehner having a spine, Hillary can sleep like a baby. Not a care in the world.
Did the founders make public all of their personal and official correspondences, daily schedules, and reasons for appointments and hiring practices? I don't think so. Of course, back then, we weren't a nation of busybodies.

The Clinton e-mail story has zero to do with the President's transparency--as you know--it's all on HRC.
Maddow broke the story on Monday night without covering for HRC fyi.
O'Donnell followed with criticism and wondered if she'd address it Tuesday night at her Emily's list speech.
Matthews correctly stated tonight that the Emily's speech was not the appropriate place to answer this problem.
Only one lefty on Matthews tried to cover HRC and she was lame.
The lefty New York Times blared this story on its front page the last two days.
Its reporter on Matthews tonight was hard-hitting and straight-forward.
Using a private server certainly brings up the danger of her e-mails being hacked.
Besides Benghazi Gowdy, you've hear very little from GOP politicians since they have their own e-mail accounts also--article is on Politico.
I'll give you an update on how FOX and the Special Report with/Bret Baier handled the story if you want one .
Since the left broke the story on Maddow Monday night followed by criticism from O'Donnell, you'd be wrong about the left defending HRC.
And the lefty New York Times has run the story front-page the last two days.
And I've heard only one lefty speaker on MSNBC try to defend HRC--and she was put in her place on Matthews.
You really need to hear exactly what the left is saying before spewing your usual incorrect anti-lefty noise.
Except for Gowdy, you've heard little from GOP politicians since they may have their own skeletons in their private e-mail accounts.
And I know exactly what the Cons are saying, since I watch the Special Report with Bret Baier when I am home .
