I've cut back on restaurant food in general since the outbreak hit the US, although I went out for NY style pizza tonight with family, and had tacos last week. I've cut out all Asian food for now, though it's not a safe bet anymore, and you could just as easily catch the virus eating Persian, Italian or Mexican food I'm sure.
The paramount benefit of diversity is of course tasty food, and now diversity may have cost people even their favorite ethnic cuisines- the NY pizza place was dead, which actually turned out OK for us because we got great service, something you don't always find at this particular restaurant due to it's popularity. The food is always good. At many Asian restaurants around town, they have no customers, and I'm wondering if some of them may shutter for good soon.
Are You Not Eating Out Because of Concerns about Coronavirus?

I meanwhile shun Italian wines and I've never been a fan of corona beer anyway.
The greater idiocy that the opening post suggests, lies in suspecting certain ethnics (both in food and cook) as providing a greater danger of infection.
Covid doesn't have a passport and that demonstrates that it doesn't have a nationality either. So if you want to completely insulate yourself from it (and everything else that might feed own paranoia), lock yourself in your cellar (if you have one) and pray that the ceiling holds fast.
And shut down your internet connection, we all know there are all sorts of online viruses.

That's probably the most stupid post I've read today.Brave talk, contrary to the other thread where you said you're isolating yourself from the coast, and trying to hunker down with locals there in Andalusia.
Mayor Marty Walsh (Two weeks ago)
“It’s safe to come to Chinatown,” Walsh said. “We want to make sure we continue to support our businesses here in Chinatown. This is their bread and butter and if they are losing business, they will have to shut doors.”
(Two weeks later)...same guy shuts down St Patricks day parade......but not the Boston Marathon.....figure that lefty out. He doesn't even agree with himself.
Just like Trump and others, he adjusts as we learn more about this.
As for the OP, we usually eat at home. I love to cook and try out new recipes. Yesterday, on the way back from a short trip, we went to a nice Chinese place. We like to frequent the ones who have a grill, because of the veggies grilled to order.
You’ve cut out all Asian food? Because of the Coronavirus?
I haven’t changed anything about my dining routine, although in the last few days I’ve had Thai food twice instead of once.

Anything about these dates seem like it might be factor?

Love Thai...what's your favorite dish?
My absolute favorite is Thai fried rice with chicken and very spicy. Simple dish, but it’s so good.
